I read other reviews that said the seat was big, and it is, but it's comfy for my 10 month daughter and is extremely sturdy and well built. Best if you can catch it on sale as I did. Worth every penny!

I recently purchased this car seat for my 9 month old daughter as she is growing out of her infant carrier. I read numerous reviews on different car seats and the Marathon consistently had the best ratings. I can see why. It is a beast. It is solidly made, has lots of padding, and looks super comfy to ride in. We currently have it rear facing and reclined. I love that this will probably be the only car seat we need to purchase as it holds up to 70 lbs (our 6 year old doesn't even weigh that much!) Also, this is the cutest print EVER!

I originally saw this as Mommy's Best Pick on a baby center survey so thats how i started looking at this male and model. We bought this as a second carseat for our second vehicle. I was tired of taking out and carrying the other one we have. Great thing about this car seat is my daughter is comfortable while safe and she can see out window now. She is 9 months old (17 lbs)and drifts off to sleep more often in this new car
seat. What is not so great is it took a bit of time to install, but that is part of what makes it so safe. Tip: install it ahead of needing it(don't try to do it before you need to be somewhere.) It is made ofvery nice material and soft safe straps! I wish we would've bought it sooner! Delivery was super fast!!!

Even though this car seat is rather large, it sits perfectly in the middle of my back seat ('10 Malibu). Both seats are still able to fully recline and slide back. The size is actually a plus because it allows your baby to stay in it longer. Also I just feel it's safer in general than a smaller seat. This is one of the only convertible seats I've found that can hold a newborn up to well past a toddler. The money is worth it because it's the only seat you'll ever need to buy! I love the ease of not having to rethread the harness to adjust height/tighten the straps. The seat was very easy to install with the anchor system. It tightened right down and doesn't move an inch. I had to get my sister to install it though, because I was 8 months pregnant when I bought it and it's best to actually sit in the seat while you tighten it to get the best results. I was not fitting in there at 8 months pregnant! I know a lot of people opt for the smaller seats with newborns for the fact that you have a base and can easily remove the seat take it with you. Which is not the case with this Britax. I, on the other hand, did not want to, and probably could not, carry around a car seat post c-section. A lot of those people will tell you, too, that carrying it, along with a diaper bag got really heavy and became a hassle. Trust me, it was a lot easier to just start off with the big one and cheaper too! The ONLY thing, which is not really something you can help in south Alabama, is when it's warm, the seat makes my baby sweat. Not all the seat's fault, but the padding is kinda thick so it retains heat. All around I LOVE this seat. My daughter has used it since day 1 and is almost 4 months old. Best thing since sliced bread if you ask me!

Had one of these before and had to replace it because of a car accident. The old seat protected my daughter so well that she had absolutely no injuries, yet my car was totaled. Just bought this one, love the color, she feels like a princess in it. Love the Velcro on the sides that holds the seat belts when she gets into it. It's a small thing, but is really convenient. Bought the cup holder too, easy for her to reach and use. A few other updates made it even better. I will never buy a seat other than Britax and I recommend it to all of my friends.

I loved all the safety features this car seat had too offer but in the end it was huge!!! I had to return it because it would not fit into our dodge magnum.

We just purchased two of these for our 13 month old twin girls. They both love them as they are roomy and I think comfortable for them. Much better than their old infant carriers. For me it's not about the price when it comes to my girls safety and Britax makes some solid safe items. My only complaint about "any" make convertible seat is that they don't come off the base. I have to lug two of these heavy things in and out of daycare daily because it's state mandate that I leave them at the daycare. Other than that I LOVE the color and the fact that the cover comes off and is machine washable. So far this car seat is a winner!

When my daughter outgrew her infant carrier, I needed to purchase another rear facing seat. I purchased a different brand first and after not being fully satisfied with it, I did some more research and purchased this one since it always appears to come out on top. I couldn't be happier with it so far and my daughter appears to be very comfortable in it. It is also very sturdy and has a secure fit. I highly recommend this seat.

My daughter is 13 months and I'm keeping her rare facing as long as I possibly can. She has not been loving that but as soon as we put this seat in she got all cozy and did not want out! Love the two day delivery!

I love this car seat! My daughter is comfortable when she is in it and it looks great in my car. This seat has velcro on the shoulder straps to make putting her in a breeze. I never have to pull and yank on the straps because they have gotten under her. The safty features are what made my decision to purchase this brand very easy. The only problem I have with it is that if you do not have the bottom anchors in your car, installing and moving this seat to another vechicle is very annoying.

Just got this car seat yesterday for my 5 month old I absolutly love it its so easy to adjust the straps unlike with our last seat there is no rethreading you just slide it up or down to your babys height and pull the button and pull the straps to loosen its so comfortable a little bulky but its worth it to know your baby is safe and its not really heavy like our last carseat we had the sunshine kids radian 80
