I always used Britax, and decided to go with 85 Sict. I noticed that now they use one short belt with two lathes instead of two short belts with two latches like the old version. I installed it today and its so clumsy. There is no way to get that same stability like it used to be with two short belts. The whole idea for me buying it was because of those short belts that make the seat so stable and impossible to move. I am returning it today.

Really like harness system and that it is car seat & booster as well..my son absolutely loved our first britax but likes this one even better because it has 2 cup holders!

Just a bit of info on installing..because this one was different size than our older britax i was having problems getting it to completely tighten. So i went to the fire station and had fireman check if i had it tight enough..she actually pulled out manual to check where proper installation was for our car and it turned out on our 2006 Tucson the way the clamps are spaced it would not tighten in the middle because they were too close together..once we moved to the side tightened down perfectly.

I am so glad I went and had it checked...just wanted to pass along to all of you other caring parents!

The carseat was great at first but the seat cushion would not stay attached in the front. It caused the foam underneath to get tore. It was totally a pain after one year of use.

I purchased this seat for my 3 year old in June 2012 so his baby brother could move up to the Britax Marathon we own. This seat is sturdy and comfortable and my son seems to like it. Once he is in the seat it is relatively easy to buckle him in. What I don't like about the seat that I wish I had known before purchasing, is how WIDE it is with the frame and extra cushioning. I drive a 2010 Subaru Outback. With a Britax Marathon and this booster seat, there is NO room for a person to sit in the middle of the two car seats or room for another booster seat should I want to transport another child around. Also, it is VERY heavy and a pain in the you know what to take apart to wash and reassemble. I rarely swear, but this seat brings me to it every time I am trying to disassemble it.

A better safer booster. Material is not cheap like most car seat and my son is comfortable.

Great car seat. Top of the line, esp. re: safety. However, the Portebello color is much darker than expected. Otherwise, great purchase.

We selected this seat after owning 2 marathons because it felt like the safest option as my child got older. However, the seat pad comes unattached every single time my child climbs into the seat. The straps get tangled very easy. The buckle is always very tight on the crotch area despite adjusting as loose as possible. We haven't tried using the seat belt only vs 5 point harness and I'm not sure how impossible it would be for my child to get around the seat to get the strap and click it. My child is on the small side of the size scale and I can't imagine fitting comfortably for long. LOVE the feeling of safety...don't like the daily experience.

Very satisfied, exactly as ordered. After some research, we bought this product as additional seat for second car. Have been thoroughly pleased with the Britax Boulevard, and like this Frontier product also. Son tells me Frontier is not as comfortable, but that he loves the armrests and the cupholders of his "big boy seat". I like that I can keep him in a 5-point harness up to 85 pounds, in addition to the side impact bolsters.

I have only been using this car seat/booster seat for a few days but I am loving it!! My son (3 1/2) is loving it too!! I have been using Britax from day 1 and this actually fits in my Tahoe better than the one we had. In my opinion the best part is knowing its the safest seat for your kids!!

I own the britax marathon and love it. I had the graco nautilus, which was ok but it jammed a ton when I was trying to get my daughter out of it. So I decided to splurge and get the britax marathon, I hate it! The straps twist horribly, not like the other britax car seats. My daughter was buckling herself for 6 months until we switched to the frontier, she can't even come to close to buckling it. I don't blame her I fumble with it myself.

This car seat is great! It fits perfect in my Buick Enclave. Cup holders are great and my 4yr old finds it comfortable. I've had it for a week now and she has fallen sleeps 3 times in it and her head did not tip forward like her convertible car seat. I give it 5 stars but my only slight complaint is that it is a little tight around my daughters neck.
