I will be using this for my newborn. This carseat is beautiful and super comfy. Britax makes very sturdy carseats built on safety. The colors are just as pictured. It is large and newborn will seem very small in it. But, no need to buy another to lug around. And I know my baby will be safe in this.

I purchased the Britax Boulevard CS a month ago when my son was 11 months. He had outgrown his Chicco Keyfit 30 for hight (he was only 25 lbs but his head was 1 inch below the top of the seat frame). The Britax Boulevard is very sturdy, it has a big metal bar in the back and metal frame. It feels very well built. It weighs 20 lbs or more, so it's not as easy to travel with as the infant seat was, but since it'll hold kids up to 70 lbs, would you really want it to be light weight? I read a review about a child surviving a roll over crash in the seat and that is the quality I want for my baby. The seat is really comfortable for my son - he used to scream everytime we went anywhere, and now he is fine. I would definitely splurge for the Boulevard because of the true side impact protection, the pads by his head are very important. I'd also splurge for the CS so you don't over or under tighten the straps, but that is less important than the side impact protection since you can learn how to tighten the straps (which is super important!). I recommend watching a youtube video of the installation and reading the manuel. It's not hard, but there are details you need to know and some things to do depending on the type of install (latch, seat belt with shoulder strap, seat belt without shoulder strap. We like the seat so much we bought a second one for my husband's car. They also look very luxurious. It hasn't been in a crash (God willing it never will), but I'd recommend this seat. Also, I wouldn't get this for a newborn - it seems way too big for that. I'd start with an infant seat then get this when they are bigger.

I love this carseat. It is so easy to adjust and install. I love the little things they add to make your life easier, like the Velcro to hold the straps to the side while you put the baby in the car. I would buy another one when we have a second baby.

Beautiful Pink car seat. The pink print is smooth which is great for hot florida weather. The gray part of the fabric is minky. This is a very sturdy, easy to install, safe car seat. The cover is completely removable with out uninstalling the seat. My daughter is 15mos, 19lbs, so I had to install it rear facing and it is a little bit awkward putting her into the seat without bumping her against the car (Toyota Camry)but I prefer this because there is more protection for her on the sides in the event of an accident. I did remove the soft shoulder pads on the seat belt part because it caused a lot of bulk with the head side impact pillows. But those pillows are great when she falls asleep as they hold her head up. The buckle between the legs is a little shorter than her Chicco infant seat one was. I haven't figured out if there is a way to make it longer. Overall great purchase and she loves that its pink.

I have a 6 month old daughter, and she loves this car seat! Its comfortable, she can see out the window, and see her brother next to her.

My 10 month old loves this new car seat. She often falls asleep in it and the side cushions make great pillows. I like how the strape betweeen her legs doesn't push into her inner thighs like her infant seat was starting to. I really feel like she's safe and sound in this seat. I haven't taken the cover off of it to clean it, so I can't comment on that. My only minor complaint is in the rear facing position, it's not that easy to get her into the car. We have to sort of lift her in and forward then have her sit back into the seat (but we are new parents and maybe this is how all of these covertable car seats are). I think it will be much smoother to get her in it when we can turn it around to foward facing. It's not a big enough deal though or I would have returned it. My husband said it was very easy to install using the anchors in our GMC Terrain. I would buy this car seat again.

I got this for my 2nd daughter and could not be happier with the purchase. My other daughter has the Boulevard and this was a little smaller. It has great padding, which can be difficult to take off and clean at first. To me, that was the least of my problems as I feel very comfortable with having my children in Britax car seats. I have done plenty of research and this was definitely a great buy!

While stylish and a top-selling brand, i was quite disappointed with the level of comfort offered for my 20 months old son. He has never cried or complained about his car seats before, and he currently uses the Evenflo Symphony 65 in 2 vehicles he rides in. I bought this as a replacement due to an accident. Every time I try to buckle him in, he screams and cries, "ouch hurt mommy, hurt, noooo!!!" The things I liked compared to the Evenflo Symphony was that it isn't as bulky, and the size adjustment is more secure due to just lifting the head rest instead of lifting on the straps.
