This swing is great, even with newborns! It has so many speed settings that you really get exactly the speed you're looking for! It was never like a roller coaster when my son was still really small! I love the music and it is also loud enough that the baby hears it and well! It folds open and closed in seconds which is awesome!!! The only thing I don't really like is the basket seems really deep but it doesn't seem to bother my son so maybe it just bothers me. Also my music just stopped working the other day and I don't think it is the batteries cause the swing is still going like a champ! Other than that I would recommend this swing! Plus all baby items start malfunctioning at some point lol.
