My 9-month-old has enjoyed this toy fairly well for the past few months. Doesn't love it; doesn't hate it. He enjoys the spinning ball at one end and the "beads" on the spokes. He has no interest in the frong and the squeaker (though he loves other squeakers).

He of course chews and sucks on every bit of it. It concerns me that the yellow paint on the caterpillar's "buttons" has worn off quite a bit during these teething sessions.

I bought this for my daughter when she was 6 months old. At the time, she loved it, but it was a little bit on the heavy side for her and she kept hitting herself in the head. Over the past month and a half she has gained much more control and it has become one of her favorite toys.

The weight and size of this item are perfect for my 6 month old. It isn't clumsy or heavy, but does have enough "moving parts" to keep her interested.
