We use this as a meal replacement for our autistic 4 year old who is a very picky eater. He has gained weight and remains at a healthy weight now. I didnt know what to do before finding this product. What a relief.

Due to various health reasons, we pretty much HAVE to give this to my 2 yr old son... but do it rather grudgingly because we resent the exorbitant price, and because I recently called the company and was told that the lining of the can contains BPA. This is the only milk-free nutritional supplement on the market, so the company clearly feels free to take advantage of their monopoly here. If the industry has eliminated BPA from infant feeding and formula products doe to possible dangers to babies and small children, why doesn't this item follow suit?

My son has multiple SEVERE food allergies and only fourteen safe foods. We are very lucky that soy is one of them! However, after he was 2yrs old, there wasn't a suitable soy formula anymore and the amount of corn and coconut in the infant/toddler soy formulas was causing him problems too. He was losing weight very quickly and unable to even keep down thick liquids. The Bright Beginnings Soy Pediatric Drink is a life saver for us whenever he gets sick. It becomes the only thing of real nutritive value that he can consume. He drinks 1-2 every day as well just to help with his already very limited diet as well.

My almost 11 month-old daughter is picky and has reflux. Medicine fixed the reflux problem, but not the picky eating problem. Her weight had dropped to barely above the 3rd percentile. I asked her pediatrician about introducing this product, and he told me to go ahead. She has gained 8 oz in two weeks. She prefers it mixed with her soy formula as opposed to straight (due to the sweetness, I'm guessing).

A nutritionist prescribed Bright Beginnings Pediatric Soy drink for him since he also has a mild milk allergy. It took us a while to start buying this soy drink since you can only buy online and we wanted to have him try it first befor committing to a whole case. He hated it in the beginning because it's so sweet but he got used to the taste. It's pretty much the only healthy thing he eats. This product was recommended to us by the dietician that oversees our daughter's nutritional needs. We have had great success with it! My daughter (almost 3 and only 22 lbs) has growth issues due to a severe milk allergy- among others. Thankfully- she is otherwise healthy, but we have to closely monitor her calorie intake. She eats very well, but because she can't eat / drink all of that yummy and fattening cheese, milk, yogurt, etc- she's not getting enough calories to thrive. We started using this simply as a supplement to her regular diet, but have since upped her dose due to the success we've seen with just 1 can a day. She now gets 2 - 3 cans a day and (along with her regular diet) is growing- slowly, but surely. We did have to introduce it to her slowly- mixed in with her regular soy milk because the taste is stronger than she's used to. She quickly adjusted, though and now drinks it by itself. My husband even likes the taste of it! =) We HIGHLY recommend this product- for sure!

My adopted child has feeding problems due to sensory integration issues and oral motor/muscle weaknesses. She couldn't swallow solids until she was nearly 3 yrs old. She was growing well on Pediasure, but then needed to be off of dairy to improve reflux that was making it very difficult to swallow. This pediatric drink is dairy free and works well for her. The cost is reasonable in comparison to other special nutrition drinks like Neocate Jr.
