One star is over rating this cleaning system. It just doesn't fit Born-free bottles or nipples.

Comments about Tru-Clean Relacement Sponges - 2 Pk:

I decided to give the brush and sponges a try even though the reviews were awful! I just really liked the idea of a sponge that was really soft and didn't scratch the bottles. I really like these! I feel like they clean really well, and get into the groove on the bottom of the bottle even better than brushes. My only issue is that the sponges have to be replaced often, but I may also be pretty hard on them. I recommend! Also the holder is BPA Free!!!

The only thing better about this brush than the old twister style is the replacement sponge idea. The rest of it was a wastee of a design team as it no longer contours to bottle, isn't user friendly, and the silicone nipple cleaner is pointless....epic fail born free.

Comments about Tru-Clean Bottle Cleaning System:

This brush pales in comparison to the old Twister brush set. The sponge doesn't get into the grooves of the two valve pieces, and the silicone nipple cleaner, which does fit into the grooves, doesn't absorb any soap. This leaves us with putting drops of soap into every valve piece and nipple, while the sponge is only able to clean the bottle itself. Further, the sponge is pitiful; it doesn't 'hold' soap, so with every other bottle I have to squeeze more soap on it.

For a long time I waited for a Born Free brush set with replaceable sponges, but this isn't it! Bottle-washing is a laborious process, now made even more laborious by this poorly designed brush. Unless Born Free comes back with the Twister, or a different product, I will end up switching brands.

This 'brush' set is awful in comparison to the old brush set they used to make. The nipple brush doesn't really fit into the nipple and the large bottle sponge is awkward to use.

I honestly have no idea how they even came up with this design. I didnt love the old one, but it was wayyy better than this thing. It doesn't contour to the bottle making it really hard to get clean, it's not shaped to get the nipple clean and I think the little silicone nipple cleaner on the end is a joke. Just all around awful.

Not recommended. Sponge would not stay snapped in on handle after only a few washes. Born free has better bottle sponges than this style.
