Not sure how anyone could like this cup. It makes my son soaking wet. Assembling it right?! There's one thing to put in the cup and then the lid. Am I missing something here?! Hate this cup

Comments about Single Training Cup - 7 oz - Blue:

This cup was expensive, about $11. I bought it thinking it would be a good cup for my 1 year old. Wrong. The cup is cute but thats it. The plastic/rubbery valve that fits inside has no purpose as far as I can tell. In or out, the cup LEAKS terribly. Turn it upside down and liquid just flows out. Shake the cup and again. liquid will por out of the spout. I gave it several chances, and each time my child was soaking wet. This cup is in the trash.

Comments about Single Training Cup - 7 oz - Blue:

These are my daughters favorite sippys. The cup is shaped in a way that she does not need to use the stupid handles on the sides (yeay for less dishes). Some people have complained of the cups leaking, or not working without the little round insert. I personally NEVER use the insert thing, and mine don't leak. The trick is that you need to get the lid very very tight. As tight as you possibly can. If you have a hard time getting things un-done, these probably wont be the best for you. Besides this, they are the best sippys you can buy.

I love these cups. We had the Born Free Bottles when my son was younger and then transitioned to the sippy cups. We have one in every color and use them every day. They do not leak if assembled correctly. Would highly recommend this product.

Do you love the Born Free bottles, so you're thinking that you'll just go to the sippy cup. Please don't. The insert that is so great in a bottle is not necessary in a sippy cup and its annoying to clean. Unfortunately, the whole contraption doesn't fit together properly without it and it leaks. So you have to use it. I also find it bulky to throw in a handbag.

Comments about Single Training Cup - 7 oz - Blue:

My 9 month old son has been using this cup since he turned 4 months old. He took to it right away, and now uses it 3 times a day, only getting a baby bottle at night. I like that the spout is soft enough for him while he he teething, and durable enough to withstand his biting. My older son (almost 2 yrs. old) became attached to a Nuk sippy cup with a silicone spout. I was happy with these until he started destroying the spouts by biting on them. He even ingested pieces of the silicone, which were later deposited in his diaper. I don't think this bottle will pose a problem, as the spout seems very strong. My only complaint about this cup is that the handles do not snap in place, leaving them loose and twirling all around the neck of the cup. This makes no sense to me, and I don't use them at all. How is a baby supposed to manage handles that are floating around, with no stability?
