Born Free BPA-Free 5 oz. Glass Bottle with ActiveFlow Venting Technology, 1-Pack

The Born Free Glass Bottle features patented ActiveFlow Venting Technology that reduces air pressure and vacuum buildup, resulting in reduced gas and colic symptoms. The leak-free vent allows your baby to control the flow of milk, and helps to prevent nipple confusion. Because Born Free provides an experience closer to breastfeeding, your baby can easily switch between breast and bottle-feeding, allowing you to breastfeed longer. The easy-to-use bottles are top rack dishwasher safe, and naturally free from BPA and PVC.

Features:
  • Nipples, collars, valves, and sippy cup spouts and handles are interchangeable on all Born Free bottles and transition cups
  • Glass bottle is easier to clean and top-rack dishwasher safe; can be boiled for 5 minutes to sterilize
  • Soft silicone nipple available in 5 flow rates: Level 1 (slow flow), Level 2 (medium flow), Level 3 (fast flow), Y-Cut (fast flow - suitable for thicker liquids), Variable Flow (3-stages in 1)
  • Bottles available in 5 oz. (includes level 1, slow flow, nipple) or 9 oz. (includes level 2, medium flow, nipple)
  • Natural milk flow for an experience similar to breastfeeding, allows baby to control the flow and helps prevent nipple confusion

The rubber covers are very difficult to move from one bottle to the other. They should all come with the outer sleeve

Comments about Glass Bottle with Bonus Sleeves - 5 oz - 3 Pk:

I have been using the Medela bottles since my son was born. I like Medela because they work with my pump and are BPA free etc. But I've always been intrigued with glass bottles. Plus after awhile plastic bottles get cloudy. After a lot of research I purchased these bottles and I love them! They are so heavy duty compared to the plastic Medela ones I have. I still use both but prefer the glass bottles.

It does come with one sleeve but that's fine with me. The sleeve isn't even important to me yet, I think it becomes more of a need when my son can hold his own bottle. And you can always just buy extras if you need to.

I think so long as you aren't tossing your diaper bag around you are fine. They also travel very well with breastmilk in them. They come with a sealing disk to prevent leaks.

        I would highly recommend these.

Comments about Glass Bottle with Bonus Sleeves - 5 oz - 3 Pk:

The diapers.com description clearly states that this product comes with "sleeves." The plural word suggests that more than one sleeve is included in the set. This is faulty advertising. There is only one sleeve in the set. The sleeve fits snugly and would be a hassle to remove every time. Although I like the Born Free bottles, both of the glass ones I purchased previously shattered, which is why I was eager to get bottles with protective sleeves. Buyer beware!
