These bottles have been the best since they came out. I began using them 4 years ago, and havent had a single issue. They are easy to clean, NEVER leak, and have a consistant flow for all stages. I love how I can buy the accessories to make them sippy cups as well.
The only downside is the different pieces that are needed for the airventing, but really is no big deal

I bought one of these bottles once in a pinch. It was awful. My daughter, who took pretty much every other kind of bottle, hated it. But worse, I put it in the dishwasher and it MELTED. The website says they are dishwasher safe, but my regular GE dishwasher completely disfigured this bottle. I guess you could get the glass, but then why not save money and get the Evenflo? I can't believe this company is still in business, honestly. A reviewer below cited some criteria she was seeking to fulfill. In my experience, the easiest bottles to use are Evenflo glass (they screw onto Medela pumps, can be frozen, heat easily under water, and go right in the dishwasher--and look new even a year later). I also like Medela, but they look not-so-great after some spins in the dishwasher. MAM are good for those with colic/latch problems.

Comments about BPA Free Plastic bottle - 9 oz - 2 pk:

We went through so many bottles when our son was born. We started off with Tommee Tippee which I did like but hated how the bottle squished my son's nose when he drank. We had to start adding rice cereal to our son's milk b/c he had AR. The X cut nipple on the Tommee Tippee bottles was WAY TOO FAST and our son would choke and leak milk out all over his face or he would down the bottle in 2min and have a bellyache:( After going through Playtex ventaire, Tommee Tippee, and Avent bottles, I discovered these Born Free bottles and the size 3 nipples. AMAZING! our son was able to drink the heavier milk with the size 3 nipple in a decent amount of time w/o choking or leaking milk all over him. He is now 6 months old and loves his bottle. He'll grab his bottle and try to hold it:) They are easy to clean and love how the print (ink) is plant based and they are BPA free. One thing to note, I would use the AVENT blue bottle brush with the spiral end nipple cleaner. From what I've heard, you should not use any brush type bottle cleaners on these bottles because they are known to rip the venting slit. The blue Avent bottle brush fits perfect in the bottle and the spiral nipple cleaner end is just plastic, no brush.

When my daughter was one month old, she suffered from gas a bit. I was using Avent bottles back then. So I bought one Dr Brown bottle and tried it for a few days. It was a good bottle but very hard to keep clean, and my husband did not feel comfortable with it.
So I bought the Born Free bottle, and I fell in love with it. It's much easier to clean, comfortable to hold, and my baby got used to it very quickly. And what I love about this bottle is that you can actually see the air trapped in the milk floating away from the bottle nipple. I think that it reduced my baby's gas pain.

I used born free with our first daughter, but I was breastfeedinging so I didnt use the bottles, but her babysitter did while I was at work. For our second daughter I had to stop breastfeeding so I now use the bottles and I love how they heat up to a perfect temperature when I use the bottle warmer! The glass ones get a little too hot, but these plastic ones are perfect!

I love these bottles. I've very picky when it comes to bottles, and I tried several with my 2 kids. I breastfed mostly, but used bottles too, and with my second used bottles from 5 months-1 year. I also have worked in childcare, so I am familiar with about every bottle on the market. These are my favorite bottles. They are worth the extra money. The vent system is just right, and they don't leak! They have a high quality feel to them.

I love this bottle. What could really improve this product is if it were available with the Level 2 nipples also. We have to buy new bottles from time to time and now we have to buy more nipples too. The level 1 nipples are useless right now since my son is too old for them.

I have to say these are, by far, the best bottles!! I have tried Dr. Browns and there is no contest...BornFree are SO much better. When I take my son to daycare I just toss his bottles in the diaper bag and go. They BornFree don't make a mess or leak all over the things in my diaper bag; unlike the Dr.Browns that make everything a mess. I think these bottles are very easy to clean. I actually use the BornFree bottle brush which is very nice because it comes with a nipple cleaner...a huge plus!

The only issue we've had is that it sometimes leaks - but that has happened just a few times out of the hundreds of times they've been used. I highly recommend Born Free.

I've tried 6 types of bottles, looking for just the right one that meets all of my criteria. Haven't found it yet, although the Nuk bottles I tried today are promising.

Here's what I've been looking for in order of priority:
                              1. Doesn't leak between the nipple and bottle (big problem I've been having with the Avent bottles that I've been using for the last 3 months)
                              2. Easy to clean
                              3. Babies don't dribble too much (flow is slow enough for them)
                              4. Vents well (babies don't have to stop sucking to allow air into the bottle - I would also put "nipple doesn't collapse" with this since I think it's closely related)

I tried the BORNFREE bottles for the last 4 days. It meets most of my criteria, but not #2. The silicone vent and plastic piece that fits over it is VERY hard to clean. The holes are too small to fit a normal bottle brush, and the small wire brush that comes with the Dr. Brown's bottles is too small (plus the BornFree packaging says not to use a wire brush). Personally, I would rather use the Dr. Brown's bottles, which are just as effective for the other 3 criteria and have as many pieces to wash as the BornFree bottles (5). The only difference is that with the little wire brush, I find the Dr. Brown's bottles slightly easier to clean than the BornFree bottles.

(Note that I'm leaning towards the Nuk bottles right now - the ones with a wider top which seem to be discontinued at diapers.com? - they have 3 pieces that are easy to wash, haven't leaked yet, and the flow seems to be fine. Only problem is that my babies do seem to need to stop sucking to let air into the bottle every now and then. I'm going to try the medium flow nipples to see if that helps, but even if it doesn't, I'm willing to stick with the Nuk bottles anyway because they are so much easier to clean and with twins, I have a LOT of bottles to wash every day.)

After using those bottles happily for about one month, I found all the nipples becomes super fast flow nipples(level one I got with twin pack), no matter how I hold it, screw it, no matter how much milk in it. I did everything correctly [...] I also found one of the nipples marked as level 2, clearly there are some quality control problem. I would not recommend this bottle. My baby got choked on it (that is how I found out the flow issue) and refuse to eat milk with this bottle. I had to go back to old Playtex (which leaks but the nipples works great).

This bottle is amazing. It's NEVER leaked my daughter never had gas with these bottles. I tried other bottle like Ferber NUK and advent. But the born free were the best ever.
