From the pics I thought these plates would be perfect - cute and hard for my little one to pick up. I was disappointed when they arrived. The colors seem somehow less charming then they do online, and the plates are hollow on the bottom - I thought they would be solid and weighted to make them harder to pick up. They do have some traction around the bottom rim so they don't slide easily, but my 12 month old can pick them up without a problem, even with the edgeless design! I'm sending them back.

I really like these plates-- they work great on the table or floor. But they are too big to fit on our high chair tray (we have the Keekaroo).
