I bought this two years ago and actually used the colors to inspire the rest of my son's nursery. The birds are adorable. However, we never hung the mobile because it's awkward. It just sticks out from the wall, and to be frank there's not been a single place or angle in the room where it looks "natural." Perhaps it's because the birds are really flat, or that you need to view it from the side to even tell what the birds are. If you put it over the baby's crib, he wouldn't see the birds at all because they are super narrow. We've tried over a dozen times to figure out where it should go and always give up, even though we still DESPERATELY want to make it work.
