I've had this cold pack for about 3 years and haven't had any problems with leaking or quality. I have two active little boys who get bumps and bruises. Just the other day my 23m old fell and I reached for the ladybug. It's partially effective as a cold pack and partially just as a comfort. I gave him the ladybug and he held it on his knee for a minute and then he felt all better. It stays soft even when frozen so it's gentle on little bruises.

This is awesome because unlike most cold packs it does not get hard in the freezer. My daughter loved for me to use it when she would bump her head or get a little scratch. The fun characters make for a good distraction esp. if you have a dramatic child.
The only bummer is that when I took it out of the freezer to use a couple of months after I got it, the thing was leaking. I put it in a zip lock bag & have been using it like that ever since but today I'm ordering a new one because my daughter loves them so much & she freaks that it is in the bag and she can't open it. lol

We got our sons one each, and they love using them when they get minor injuries. However, on both the ladybug and penguin, the outer film peeled off within just a couple of months. We have been wary of using these ever since, because the boys (age 3) sometimes like to put them in their mouths.
