Ordered for my 2 year-old. Now when she wants to sit on the potty she says "Big Girls Do"! We keep the book next to the potty and read it while she trys to go. Another reviewer stated that it's hard to find potty training books with pictures of real people. I hadn't thought of that before but I think the pictures of real girls made for a better connection.

My 19 month old is very interested in all things potty, EXCEPT sitting on the actual potty. She loves this book with the real kids and since getting it, she is willing to sit her potty without her diaper and for more than two seconds. She even likes to look at the book while having a seat. I also like that the teddy bear sits on the potty. We might try putting some of our stuffed friends on the potty, too. A simple, straight-forward, cute read for little ladies thinking about the potty.

The book is very cheery and happy, and helps explain the potty in a gentle but captivating way. My little one is 16 months but seems to want to be in the bathroom with me all the time so I got her a beginner potty and this book. She likes to flip through it, and I can tell her mind is trying to figure it out. I had to hide the stickers until we're really ready to go for it :).

My daughter really likes this potty book and I think it helped her connect better with the process of potty training because it has pictures of actual 'big girls' using the potty. All the other potty training books we have are cartoon drawings. The only con is that the book is too wordy for a toddler to understand well and get the point so when I read it to her I cut out many of the sentences. But overall she really likes this one.

My daughter (2yrs old) regressed after we brought home triplets 6 months ago, and wanted nothing more to do with potty training. After she showed some interest again I got this book, and she wants to read it over and over every night. We can talk about accidents in a positive way, and she understands it completely. The chart with the stars and teddy bear stickers were not only a huge hit, I really think that because she could look at the chart and see all of her stars, she became focused on doing this continuously (previously we tried every bribe known to man without success). I got the book 5 days ago, and she's potty trained completely, except for a pull up at night when she sleeps. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!

Great book, my daughter loves looking at it, she loves teddy and it definitely helped her understand of what the potty is for, however there is one picture in the book that got my daughter seriously confused. The picture where Teddy had an accident and shows pee on the floor. We had a bit of a problem explaining our little one who is 20mnth old what accident is and that peeing on the floor is not what people do :) So only 4 stars for that.

The photos and rhyming text are so adorable in this book. It also has a good message that accidents will happen and all you can do is do your best and try. My daughter is only 15 months old so I have no expectations of potty training any time soon, but she does love to sit on her little Baby Bjorn potty and look through this book while I'm going to the bathroom. I figure it is at least making her familiar with the process!
