looks like it would work well, and seemed comfortable, but i wish i bought a smaller size or that one size would be more adjustable, i can see where some might need to buy two sizes.

I bought this to aid my recovery post C-section. It was extremely uncomfortable and I plan to return it. Very disappointed!

This thing is made out of the most incomfortable material ever. It is very rough and scratchy against my skin. I was 44" when I first bought this thing which means I needed a large. Well it was already too big after using it for two weeks. And I didnt even wear it 8 hours a day or 7 days a week. It was so uncomfortable amd so impractical. It's very noticible under clothing and looks ridiculous over a shirt. I am very shapely in the hips and butt and this thing folded up on itself on my back lik 4 times. No matter how many times I tried to pull it down, it just accordioned back up and so it was only about 4 inches tall on my back. Useless. Also I'm am a little on the tall side, 5'7" and this did not cover enough of my torso to shape correctly. Maybe this is best for those the size and shape of Kourtney Kardashian. One more thing, i did try on the bamboo one in a store and it was very soft. But they didnt have any of the originals at the time.

Comments about Original - Nude:

This is a waste of money. I know it seems like a great idea, but it really is a gimmick. I talked to my personal trainer and she said "no way." It actually will PREVENT you from strengthening your inner stomach muscles.

I ordered this before my delivery and the sizing chart was pretty good, I was able to put this on on day 3 after my CS.
Unfortunately, the material is so hard, not flexible and uncomfortable, that I can only wear it when I'm on my feet.
As soon as I sit down it rides up and pushes into my breasts, which hurts.
The fabric does not adapt at all to the body, it's like having card board wrapped around you. I can't imagine this was actually conceptualized by a woman, she must have never worn it herself!!!
It does keep your tummy/organs in place though, and it also gives great back support.
I would not recommend this product though, it would be spectacular if it came in a soft fabric like the ones they give you at the hospital after the CS!

I wore my Belly Bandit the day after I got home from the hospital (so about 4 days post delivery). I ordered the medium and the small because I didn't know how it would fit. I should note I was a size 2 prepregnancy, but I gained oh about 70 pounds in pregnancy. Oops. Needless to say I was pretty sure I couldn't order based on my prepregnancy size as it recommends. I had to wear the medium at first, and let me tell you it baaaaarrrely closed. After one day wearing it, I could get it closed fine. And each day it fit a little snugger as my belly shrank. After about a week and a half I moved on to the size small. So yes, you can outgrow (or out shrink?) the band rather quickly, and sure it was expensive to buy two, but I found the results to be well worth it. People couldn't believe I had just had a baby (Obviously I could believe it as my baby didn't weigh 50 lbs like I hoped she would, so I still had a long way to go to look the way I wanted to). In short, I would definitely recommend this, it did what it was supposed to and worked well!

This was stiff, uncomfortable, impossible to sit down in, not wide enough...need I go on? I used the Wink wrap also sold at Diapers.com and wore it from day 1-28 of my postpartum recovery. It was soft, supportive,covered my belly entirely, and could be worn all day and night. I only took it off to bathe.

After wearing this wrap for one week i did notice a differance. However, not as comfortable as i had hoped for the price. You have to wear the velcro closer to the side or it's really noticable through clothing... when at home i like to wear it OVER my clothes making it more comfy. GREAT support after having had a c-sec!!! Would recomend this product but would also say to spend a little more on the bamboo version. Hear it's softer and for 6-8 weeks of wear, would def. be worth the extra!

Comments about Original - Nude:

I started wearing this a day after delivery and was back in my pre pregnancy skinny jeans in six weeks. You would probably need a size smaller than what you measure from their instructional chart after about a week post delivery.This helped my overall healing process(back ache, tummy tightening)and yes it does make the post pregnancy belly flab become noticeably better in six weeks.The bamboo version is softer than the original but both do the job pretty well (I had two sizes in different materials).

I already see noticeable differences in just 2 weeks! I can see that I will need a size smaller in another couple of weeks though unless I can figure out how to alter my existing one by adding more velcro so I can wrap it tighter and smaller. Definately recommend this product!

This is my second belly bandit because the first one helped me slim down so much that I had to order the next size smaller. I love this device. In addition to helping me slim down, it also provides a lot of support. I think that part of the reason it works so well is that it reminds you to engage your core while you're wearing it. This is worth the money. However, you need to be creative about your wardrobe because it bunches under your clothes.
