This was a terrible waste of money. I read the reviews and the ones about out-growing the thing were totally spot-on. After my 3rd baby even I outgrew the first one after about two weeks. Thinking I maybe bought the wrong size I was lured into buying the smaller on, which I also outgrew in two weeks. I'm not exactly dropping weight quickly, I just think the product is not very good. It is uncomfortable to wear, it bunches up in what waistline you do have and stretches out while you are wearing it. After trying both of these I just don't think women need this. If anything, the new shapewear and supportwear that is on the market would probably do the same thing and is definitely more comfortable and could be worn for much longer than this thing.

This is the worst product I have ever used. Not only is it expensive it is extremely uncomfortable. It bunches up in the back during use. It also gave me back pain.

I cannot emphasize this enough ... Spend the extra money and get the bamboo belly bandit. It is so much more comfortable compared to the original Belly Bandit. I had bought the bamboo one first and then after learning it takes several hours to dry after washing, I thought I would buy a second one so as to not miss any time wearing it. Given the fact the original is less expense, I decided I would give it a try. Keep in mind, I had worn the bamboo one for about two weeks and the results are truly amazing!!!! I could not wear the original one for more than an hour. It is so scratchy and rough! I felt like I was wearing a tight Brillo pad around my waste!!

The product is great however the sizing is off. [...]sizing chart is off by a whole size.

I like the support the Belly Bandit gives, especially since as a new mom you are always bending over - giving baths, changing diapers. It really eases my sore back.

I don't think it would be likely to wear this out of the house and under clothes without detecting it - it is a bit to bulky. But as a new mom, I have been spending pently of time indoors. Certainly enough to get use out of it. And it doesn't hurt that the weather is cold (sweaters and coats).

My one complaint is that due to the sizing, you may need to have multiple belly bandits. When I first had the baby, I was a size medium. The mendium is quickly becoming to big, so I will have to switch to a size small. So essentially you need to buy two sizes - one for what you will be directly after you delvier and another for what you will be two/three weeks later. Seems like a waste of money, especially since Belly Bandit can just may the velcro enclosures wider so it can fit you longer!

Bought this following the sizing recommendations, it was almost too large for me after only 5 or 6 days. So I guess it really did help my belly shrink back down, but it could be more adjustable. It worked well, but it's not the best for short waisted or petite women as it bunches up around the waist area. Even if you pull it down lower as suggested by the manufacturer, it just rides up when you bend over or sit down. Still it did help smooth things out and it really supported my weak abdominal muscles.

I started wearing mine the day my second child was born- it barely closed then but got better everyday. My children are 15 m apart so I didn't get a lot of downtime. I could feel the difference if I went out for a few hours without it- my back would ache and I felt weaker. It helped so much for the night time nursing/ trying to get out of bed. I felt comfortable walking at a decent pace right away. My belly was COMPLETELY different than after my first child. It was shocking how much it went down and how fast it went down. I wore it day and night for the first 3-4 weeks and then slowly cut back but really wore it almost all the time for 6 weeks. It's a little hot and can irritate your skin slightly. I suggest 2 so you can wash them. You may need to get a smaller size after a couple of weeks. I cannot say enough about this product and I tell everyone I know!
