I love my Belly bandit I chose the Bamboo band and it was extremely soft. I loved it. I tried a band before I bought the belly bandit - it was really rough and it had a zipper that pinched my skin, I actually needed someone to help me put it on, I returned that one and got the Bandit. It worked so well that I bought it for my sister when she had her 1st.

I had a Cesarean & used hospital binder for a week & then ordered the bamboo belly bandit. After much reseach & being skeptical in buying for months, I finally did it. I wasn't impressed, even though it's the bamboo, it's still tough & rubbed on my incision. I like the support. But, it is uncomfortable. I still had some pain on incision & couldn't sleep with it at beginning. The material bunches up on the back & creases. Can only wear inside house too visible with clothing to be out. To me I feel like any other support binder would've worked. The hspital one did it's job & it was free. This is too pricey for this.

I wanted to like this product, oh how I wanted too. But frankly it isn't worth the high cost. I've had 3 kids and with the first two (and no belly bandit or binding of any sort) I was back into my prepregnancy pants within 3 weeks. I typically gain about 25 pounds with each pregnancy and that was all lost within the same time frame just from breastfeeding/birthing a baby. This time I ordered this product hoping that it might help me to become a bit smaller than my pre-pregnancy size and help with a small pooch that I have as a result of my kids. I had read several reviews stating that Mom's had huge successes with taming their pooches and winding up smaller than before. Yeah. So far I am almost a month in and while I fit into my pre-pregnancy pants and have lost all my baby weight the measurements are still the same as 72 hours postpartum when I first started to wear the product.I am pretty sure this is just a gimmick. I could claim "look I'm back into my pants!" but I don't think the bandit had anything to do with that. Unlike firsttime mom's I have a history to look back on and know that I would have/could have lost the weight and gotten back into my clothes without having wasted the cash on this item.

It does seem to provide good support, it makes me sit up straighter and walk taller. But when you are breastfeeding and if you have a shorter torso it really rides up into my bra when I sit down to nurse. I also find at night that it rides up and scrunches around. And like many reviewers I had the same issues with the product becoming creased and noticeable when wearing fitted clothing. I also can hear the velcro "crunch" sometimes when I sit down if I haven't flattened all the wrinkles out of it.

i am 5'3" pre-pregnancy weight was 125, delivery weight was 152. i ordered a xtra small based off the measurment directions. i had a c-section, and wore the hospital abdominal binder provided, due to the fact that the belly bandit did not fit post delivery. after about a week i was able to barely get it on by lying down on the bed, and holding my breath. it does slim your waist while it is on, i unfortantly have not seen dramatic results like i was hoping, so i have not been wearing it as frequently as i probably should. i will say however, breastfeeding has really slimmed the waist and i have dropped the pounds with 8 more to go. :)

I got this a week after my c-section after using the hospital issued binder, which I thought was uncomfortable. I just have a little to take off and had extremely high hopes. After biting the bullet and paying the high price, I tried it on and was shocked at how uncomfortable it is. When you sit, it rides up a lot and has no contour for a waist. Because it doesn't have any bend and rides so much, you pretty much can't bend over without serious adjustment and poking at the top. Also, the flap is very annoying.

I'm sure this works for those that stick it out. For now, I'll go back to the free hospital binder and will try one of the other binders that aren't so stiff.

I've had 2 kids and I wore this Belly Bandit with my 3rd this last time around only. I got it as a gift (wouldn't have spent the $ on myself) and I look better now than I did with any of them. I swear its crazy. I am back down to size after 6 weeks (7 months with the other 2). I just purchased the BFF in a smaller size - so happy I found this product!

I was really skeptical about this product but it was recommended since I needed to have a repeat c-section and have a little one already at home. So I got it to help protect my incision plus add a little support to my abdomen. Yes, although skeptical, I was hoping that it would also help to shrink my stomach! I had my daughter almost 2 weeks ago and have been wearing this for about 5 days now. Within 2 days, I noticed a real difference in my stomach's appearance, despite the scale showing the same number. My stomach is looking pretty flat and the little 'pooch" below my bellybutton is actually flat too (something that hasn't happened since before my 1st pregnancy)! You can see it through clothing so for now I just wear layers. I have been wearing the medium but probably need to purchase the small in the next few days to keep making progress.

I would definitely recommend this if you've had a c-section!

I can't imagine any situation where this product could be worn as it is meant to be worn. Maybe if I was six foot two, and the width of it wasn't an issue. But, then again, still--this thing feels like something designed in the Middle Ages. If we wore as much clothing as folks did back then, perhaps it would be wearable without having ridiculous-looking bulkiness of it show under clothing. if I don't know how this company stays in business. What a waste of money!

The fabric feels silky soft! When this arrived, I had to really work to get it around my belly,3 days post partum. The instructions specifically say that if you want it to help, you need to wear it ALL the time. I actually found it comforting because it supports my back and abdominals, allowing me to cough without holding my stomach! I am short 5'2" and so I wear it partially over my hips. I have not had rolling problems that others mention. The closure is bulky but easy to hide if you fasten it with the seam on the side. I have only been wearing this for 48 hours and my stomach is significantly smaller already! More importantly, I can feel my ab muscles coming back making it easier to do things around the house. The only drawback I see is that it might be working so well that I will need an XS in the next few weeks. The first day I could barely get this around me and now I only have about an inch left before it is at the smallest size! I am debating whether I should order an XS in bamboo which feels great but is costly or just get an original to save a little money.

Belly Bandit is okay. I didn't expect it to be comfortable but I had to constantly adjust it throughout the day. I didn't have any problems hiding it under clothes as long as the clothes weren't too snug (which I wouldn't be wearing without it anyway). I would try a less expensive abdominal binder before purchasing this one.

After the first few wears, the bamboo belly bandit's flap (the extra material after the velcro closure) sticks out and is visible under clothes. This is fine for the days when I don't leave home. However my baby is 6 weeks old now and we are out of the house more and more.
I'm very disappointed in the bamboo belly bandit. I had high expectations and now I wish I had gone in another direction.
I plan to purchase the bella band and use that instead.

I bought this for use after my second pregnancy. At first, this seemed really great. It felt very supportive and it helped my back feel better soon after delivery. Everyone also commented on how thin I looked so soon after my pregnancy. However, it definitely shows under clothes unless you are wearing a very loose shirt. Also, I followed the instructions for sizing but had to send back the medium for a small (I am 6ft tall and have never worn a "small" anything!) BUT, my biggest complaint is that it has 2 creases all the way around it after just a few days of wearing it. So, these creases dig into your skin and also makes the band fit poorly. It makes the overall thing very uncomfortable to wear. It started out ok but only lasted a few days. I tried washing it and drying it per instructions hoping it would regain it's shape without the creases but it didn't work. Also, on a side note, it gets pretty hot and sweaty to wear during the summer.

I bought this product along with the Shrinxhips product and was very disappointed with both. This band is bulky and because of the width of the velcro on it, looks horrendous underneath clothing (even loose maternity clothing).
I stayed home for 10 weeks after the baby and wore this every day for several hours a day. I even attempted sleeping in it, only to wake up with it bunched up underneath my bra. Not comfortable, not practical and honestly do not think I would have achieved any different results in the appearance of my stomach without it. Do not waste your money.

I read all the reviews before ordering this product, so I was a bit skeptical, but I had a friend who was really happy with hers, so I decided to try it after the birth of my second child. It was difficult to guess my size, as I ordered it while I was 36 weeks pregnant. Based on my previous measurements, I ordered a small, and quickly decided it was TOO small. So I reordered a medium. I started wearing it three days after giving birth - the medium was ALMOST too small, but it worked. It provided great support for my uncomfortable jelly-like tummy as well as my back. I think it fits pretty smoothly under my clothes - I'm still in maternity jeans though, but it certainly looks better than my post-baby buddha! I've been wearing it approx. 10 hours a day, and just 8 days post-partum, I'm thinking I'm glad I didn't send back the small, because I've almost shrank down enough to switch sizes!
