Bella B Tummy Honey Cream - Stretch Mark Fading - 4 oz Tube

The Original Tummy Honey Cream, launched in 1999, is the ultimate solution for fading stretch marks by smoothing out and shrinking stretch marks deep into skin layers. Tummy Honey Cream includes several key ingredients to fade existing stretch marks, including a unique plant extract clinically proven to fade stretch marks typically between 30-50%. Tummy Honey Cream also helps with stretch mark prevention, and includes anti-itch ingredients to soothe those growing tummies! An emulsion-based formula (oil and water) that soaks into the skin quickly, Tummy Honey Cream keeps the skin elastic and ultra-moist for several hours.

Tummy Honey Cream has a very mild fresh scent that's not overpowering or floral. It contains some of the same key ingredients found in other stretch mark fading creams that cost 3-6 times the price! Tummy Honey Cream includes such key ingredients as Darutoside (Siegesbeckia Orientalis), cocoa butter, shea butter, vitamins B5, C, D3 and E, wheat germ oil, olive oil, avocado oil, jojoba oil, sesame oil, almond oil, aloe vera gel, plant-based collagen and elastin. Tummy Honey Cream is free of parabens (artificial preservatives), petroleum, and lanolin (which comes from sheep wool). Use twice daily for best results. This ideal stretch mark fading cream is also the winner of the iParenting Award for Excellence.

Comments about Tummy Honey Butter - Stretch Mark Prevention -4 oz:

I'm a professional aesthetician so I am very picky about products and know more than your average person about ingredients. I don't write a lot of reviews about skin care because I have tested so very many companies and I don't have time to review them all...but I'm writing this review because of the review that said this stuff is like Vaseline. No way! I think this product is wonderful. Its NOTHING like Vaseline, starting with the fact that its not a petroleum jelly (yes, Vaseline is a bi-product of petroleum...same stuff that makes motor oil.) I do not use any petroleum based products on my skin because its incredibly toxic stuff.

Tummy Honey is mostly made of natural ingredients. It does have "fragrance" in it (which usually amounts to about 10-75 different trace scents/chemicals that are used to create a parfum that is considered proprietary information; therefore, companies do not have to list the ingredients of the fragance)and it does have yellow dye in it. Other than that the ingredients are pretty clean. If you wanted to get something that was totally organic you'd have to double the price - so, for the money, I like this product and recommend it.

I have been using it in combination with several other natural oils and creams. I always put this on last as it's thick and creates a nice barrier to help product penetration and it stays on your skin a long time - which is what you want when trying to stay hydrated to avoid stretch marks. (If you feel that it makes your skin itchy you are probably putting it on too thick...or you may have a honey allergy...some pregnant women develop allergies that they did not have before pregnancy.) I haven't gotten any stretch marks on my tummy and I'm pretty big (people can't believe I'm not having twins). One thing companies don't tell you is that drinking water is also a key to avoiding stretch marks. You need internal hydration more than you need external hydration because stretch marks begin in the subcutaneous tissue. So lube yourself up and don't forget to drink lots of extra water! ;)

I went through three of these tubs during my pregnancy, not a single stretch mark appeared! It's either genes or this tummy. Butter does the trick.

It is nothing but fragranced Vaseline. Very greasy. I had never had itching on my belly but after using it, I felt very itchy.
