Comments about Stage 1 Beef and Broth - 12 pk:

i opened three jars of this good and they all had this greenish layer on the top of them. I can only assume they had gone bad, which is very scary when you are talking about baby food. I will be returning this item.

Comments about Stage 1 Beef and Broth - 12 pk:

This is the only meat my 14 months old actually likes to eat since she was six months old. She eats one or two jars a day. I use it mostly on the go because I still prefer to cook meals from scratch for her when possible. It's not a snack technically but I think it's healthier than most baby 'snacks' and it provides iron, which is very important at this age (esp. for non formula fed babies). Also, we have allergies in the family and Beechnut is one of two brands I trust to list ALL the possible ingredients, including cross contamination (Happy Baby seems to be pretty good too).

Comments about Stage 1 Beef and Broth - 12 pk:

I thought I would introduce beef to my 8 month old via babyfood rather than trying to cook/puree it myself. This food smells and tastes (yes I did taste it) like cat food! My poor little man gagged through the 2 bites I tried to get him to eat. I donated the other 11 jars to his daycare.
