This is NOT an natural mattress pad although it doesn't claim to be 100%. It has polyethylene foam like most pads to give it the waterproofness perhaps, but this is very flammable and can cause respiratory problems in anyone, esp. children. I am at a loss of what to use now since nearly all waterproof crib pads have this, 'organic' or not. perhaps I will use two towels to give me peace of mind that I am not harming my baby!

I have a standard size mattress, and this barely fits, so I had to return it. I wish it fit since I loved the material. It's only 27' wide.
