Does not stand up to Caribbean sun

Comments about Unscented Sunscreen - SPF 34 - 2.9 oz:

Bought this for husband and I to bring to the Caribbean for a vacation in February. Even though I'm fair skinned and so I'm very conscious about reapplying regularly, this sunblock did not hold up to the very strong sunlight down there. Thankfully I wore a long-sleeved shirt the whole time, but my face, hands and tops of my feet were burned. I'm sad about this because I wanted to use this for my baby this summer, but I don't think I would trust it at the beach. I'll only use this when I can keep her in the shade most of the time.

Comments about Unscented Sunscreen - SPF 34 - 2.9 oz:

Just got back from a week in FL with two kids - 11months and 2.5 yrs. We used this every day in at the beach/pool. We all came home without a sunburn. It is a little thick and you really need to rub, rub, rub it in. But it works and thats what I was looking for. It does leave you a little "white" if you don't rub it all the way. I will purchase again.

Comments about Unscented Sunscreen - SPF 34 - 2.9 oz:

As the Environmental Working Group (EWG) says, a hat and a shirt are the best sun protection for babies - no chemicals and no reapplying needed. So, I got a swim hat and swim shirt for my baby, but this Badger sunblock fills in the gaps - her hands and legs. This sunblock got a rating of 1 from the EWG, which means that it's very low in chemicals. It's important for me to not put any carcinogenic toxic sludge on my baby so that she doesn't develop health problems down the line. It seems like it should be so obvious, but most commercial baby products contain some downright dangerous substances. The Badger brand, (and California Baby too) is very mild and safe. I use it for the baby and myself too.

It's a great sunscreen. It's super thick, but it doesn't bother me since I know it's one of the best sunscreens out there. I live in SoCal and my daughter's fair skin has never been burned. It's worth the price. I highly recommend.

Comments about Unscented Sunscreen - SPF 34 - 2.9 oz:

I bought this sunscreen because of its excellent sun protection rating and the fact that it is "unscented". However, it has a really strong odor that is very difficult to wash off. The odor is so bad that I just had to stop using it on my children.

Comments about Unscented Sunscreen - SPF 34 - 2.9 oz:

I've tried several sunscreens for my now 19 month old and this is the best I've found. Mainly because there are only a handful of ingrediants and the EWG lists it with a risk factor of "1" - which is very low for a sunscreen. I also use a California Baby Face Stick Suncreen - I haven't tried the Badger face stick yet. It is a bit "gritty", thick, greasy and messy to apply (I do it before I put on his clothes) but, I have a very hard time washing it off my hands after applying it to my son which means it stays on well in water. I wish Badger made a spray - sprays seem to be less messy and better for touch-ups when he is already dressed. I might try Dr. T's Super Goop Spray it has a risk factor of "3" but, it is by far the best/lowest risk factor of all the sprays.
