Comments about BabySteps Feeding Dish with Spoon:

This tray is a great idea for feeding on the go, but unfortunately it leaks! When you pack it for traveling you have to make sure to keep it upright or you'll have a mess on your hands, food will leak from one of the three compartments in to the others and it does spill outside of the tray. The spoon and it's holder are pretty handy though.

Comments about BabySteps Feeding Dish with Spoon:

I love using this dish for daycare! It holds three different foods for her to eat at lunch (b/c she really likes variety... if she gets bored she'll stop eating). I get a little over half a jar or container into each slot and that fills her up pretty good. She's almost getting 2 jars of food. The only think i wish is that they made these with bigger compartments for when she'll need MORE food because they travel SO WELL to daycare!

I use this bowl to prepare my baby's lunch for home or when she's at the babysitter's. It's microwavable, too (Just take off the lid before doing so) It's great for travel, too because it comes with a traveling spoon. But you can use any spoon to put into the spoon container.
I like the fact, you can hook it around your thumb, like a painter's palette, to get a better grip and control of the bowl.

Comments about BabySteps Feeding Dish with Spoon:

In theory this is a great idea, however in real life it just doesn't work. I bought this because I have made all my son's baby food and thought it would work well with the storage / freezer trays since they are the same shape. It's not great to take with you (which is why I bought it) for a couple reasons: (i) The only way to keep the lid on is to use the spoon carrying case to lock the lid on - the spoon is terrible quality so I never wanted to use it (add to that I couldn't find anything indicating the spoon was BPA free). (ii) You are very limited in what you can do with this and the food you can carry. Everything you pack has to have the same cook time or you will over cook some parts of your baby's meal. I had set this aside thinking that when my son got a bit older it would be nice for small snacks...unfortunately, it's to small...so it sits in our cabinet having never been used.

Comments about BabySteps Feeding Dish with Spoon:

This is a great concept for on-the-go parents, but unfortunately the seal on the lid is ineffective. Food leaks everywhere. My diaper bag was covered. If you are using this at home or for solid foods in feeding bigger kids, this is fine but for 8 month olds eating stage 2 foods and cereal, this was a mess. Spoon carrier is great though - we use it all the time; just not the dish.

I do not use these and have 3, I purchased them with the trays for freezing larger quantities of food and thought the idea was great. You can transfer portions from the freezing trays to this for meals out. But the portions are so small, and the bowl is so large for what it is, that I never used it. I just used smaller Gerber bowls with lids for taking food with us. These are an awkward size for putting in a cooler. Also, it is hard to get all of the food out of the little compartments, a bowl is easier. And the spoons are so flimsy, we didn't like them. I have no use for these bowls. I would buy another brand if I was doing it over again.

This is the perfect dish for the beginner. Our daughter is 4 months old and this dish is perfectly portioned for little ones. I put banana's in one side and rice cereal in the other. I don't even use the third triangle yet. This is great for Mom's on the go too.

I ordered a couple of these for my nine-month-old and sent them back. The portion sizes are too small for any but the youngest child. For daycare, I much preferred the take-and-toss snack cups -- cheap, indestructible and just the right size.
