Comments about Baby Soy Kimono Bundler - Eggplant:

This is a great sleep gown. I bought this and a few from the GAP in 3-6 month to replace GAP and Carter's ones that my daughter had in 0-3 month. She can still fit into the 0-3 month ones, but they're really too short at this point (her feet are just at the bottom) so it was definitely time. It was difficult to find sleep gowns that are sized above 0-3 months, which is a little strange to me because they're so easy/convenient compared to a pj with feet or legs. I love the color, and the material is really soft/smooth.

The only negative is that these seem to run short for a sleep gown. My daughter is tall and thin so I'm not totally surprised (>25.5" and 13.5 lbs at 5 months), but when I compare it to the GAP ones, this is a good 5" shorter and narrower overall. So even though the GAP ones are also 3-6 months in size, they don't align with this one in fit; it's just slightly larger than the GAP and Carter's 0-3 months. Comparing the two, the material quality is nicer on this one. As far as longevity fit-wise, the GAP ones will far surpass this item. If your baby is on the shorter side, this will be perfect (the GAP ones will be huge...).

Also notable with regard to the functionality of the style, it seems to work best if you undo the snaps when doing a diaper change rather than just pulling it up b/c the bottom elastic is very firm. Not a big deal at all, but it does take away some of the ease that you get from using a sleep gown. Thank goodness she looks so darn cute!

this is great!!! my LO doesn't like getting put into her sleeping gown after the bath and it was a constant struggle with both her and me ending in tears. We got this style to see if it would work better and it does. I no longer struggle with getting the gown over her head.

We got great mileage out of this while our son was under 3 months. Once we sleep trained him, we had to kiss gowns good-bye, and graduated to footed sleepers. No complaints. Great brand. Never used the hand mitt.
