We bought this because the other sensor pad we had wouldn't detect our daughter when she was sleeping along the edge of the crib and we had WAY too many false alarms. It woke up EVERYONE. We purchased this to see if it would solve the problem, and it has not had any false alarms yet. I am so happy and relieved. The last thing you want as a parent is to hear that go off in the middle of the night. You wonder if it was false or if there truly was a problem. Now we know.

The only con is that it does not plug in, and you have to make sure you remember to change the batteries. A simple reminder in your email calendar can fix that though. The battery should last for 3 months.

You can't put a price on piece of mind. Never had a false alarm until our first son starting to roll around and rolled into the corner of his crib. This is the best one out there

I couldn't decide between this and the Snuza, but finally went with this. Very good product, just know that you have to have a FLAT surface (no wire or mesh support under the mattress!) We have a Babyetto crib, and ended up installing wooden planks underneath to make sure it works. Also, several false alarms. I thought I'd have a heart attack. Otherwise, great product!

I was very excited to put this monitor to good use. Unfortunately it did not work at our home. Every time our heat would run, the monitor would pick that up as infant movement. I tried every recommendation to attempt to eliminate the heat interference. Unfortunately none of my attempts worked. This monitor is useless to us as our heat and AC run through the same system-- thus, air is flowing all year through it. This monitor was not a trustworthy monitor in terms of detecting infant movement for us. [...] I did exchange it for the Snuza Go infant monitor which you place directly on the infant.

The movement monitor has given us so much peace of mind. We have slept and worked peacefully on projects knowing that our son was sleeping safely. One time the alarm went off because it could not sense our son breathing. We are grateful because even if we had been hovering over our son, we may not have been able to detect his shallow breathing. It is not necessary to use the monitor once a child reaches one year but we still do (our son is two). It is so easy to use and travel with. The monitor may also go off once a child begins to move around the crib if the child settles in an area that is not covered by the sensory plates (usually the corners). We believe in the movement monitor so much that we have given five as gifts. Other than a car seat, we think that the movement monitor is the most necessary and important safety product for babies. Every newborn should sleep with one.

This has been one of thee best items I bought as a first time mom. I miscarrie our first baby so I was very scared of something happening to our daughter. I layed awake at night watching her all the time. I finally broke down & decided to buy one of these. I researched them and noticed all the reviews of the angle care said they had false alarms but this one had 2 large sensors & no complains of false alarms. I have been using it since my daughter was 2 months old every night she is now 1. I have only had one false alarm & that was the night we moved & had to reset up her bed. I have broken the cord once moving her bed & they sent me a new one no problem. I love this product it lets me sleep at night knowing if something were to happen I have a chance to help my daughter. I believe when I say this is an item I would rather have & never need then not have & God forbid wish I had. I still use it because my daughter may have sleep apnea & it gives me peace of mind rather then laying in bed not knowing!
