I have a very heavy wetter (actually 2 of them, a 6 month old and a 2 year old). Microfiber just doesn't hold as much. These hold a lot and and hold onto the fluids better when squeezed. MF holds a lot, but when my two year old sits down on it (when it is full) it squeezes it out. They do take a while to dry compared to the MF, but it is just a little longer and sooo worth it. These can also be used right up against baby's skin or in a pocket. They are also very trim and slightly contoured in the middle. The only diaper system that I have not been able to use them in is the Fuzzi Bunz Elite OS. Those pockets are just too narrow in the middle. Not by much though.

We use these inserts in our Fuzzibunz to replace the microfiber we weren't fond of. They don't stink, wash well, and sun nicely on the line. I've heard some people complain about stiffness, but we just pop them into the dryer for 5 minutes to soften. We've used them for over a year, and they've just gotten more absorbent, and now we're getting ready to use them again for baby #2! Definitely a good investment, considering they're still in great shape. Highly recommended!

This is a grest insert if you want something very trim yet very absorbant. I like that the split design allows for quicker drying. At first I wasn't sure about these but they really have gotten more absorbant over time. The hemp is a little rougher than other materials and has pilled but I use a thin rectangle of fleece over the insert and this isn't an issue. The spilt design also helps because I fold one layer of the insert in half and place in the front (baby boy) to have extra absorbtion where it is needed so I only have to use one and my baby does not have to have a bubble butt. This is a great product and I would highly recommend it but if at first it doesn't seem to absorb much just keep washing and over time it will get better.
