It is great for catching food but when your baby looks to one side or the other food gets everywhere all over the clothes. I am buying the bib that has arms. The strap around the neck comes loose easily.

Our seventh month old preferred to chew on his bib rather than his food making meal time messy and a chore to clean up. The Bjorn bib was the solution. It lays flat on my son's chest and doesn't move. It's like baby armor. Now he is less distracted by his bib and more focused on his food. Clean up is simple and easy- one wipe or the occasional run through the dishwasher. The troth is also effective at catching fallen food and stays in place so the food doesn't fall out when baby moves, which was a problem before. This bib is also very durable. We've only needed one instead of the softer material ones that were flimsy and had to be replaced every month or so. This product has really improved our meal times.

Daughter's into self feeding these days and this bib does the job of keeping the inevitable mess to a minimum. I love the ease of use and clean up, my baby loves picking up her dropped bits of food from the bib at meal time!

We have been using this bib for about 15 mos, since our son was about one. It keeps his clothing cleaner than any other kind of bib we've ever tried. In fact, I threw all of the stinky cloth bibs away as soon as he was done with bottles and have never looked back. Other plastic bibs we tried for our older child had fabric edging on them that quickly got moldy and smelly. This bib is easy to keep clean because it is dishwasher safe, or can be washed and dried by hand and used or stored immediately--good for travel & restaurants if you're organized enough. I bought red because I was concerned about orange baby food stains--the blue at the neck did pick up stains (that are no longer noticeable) and the red still looks like new. I think the only gamble about purchasing this bib is--"Hey, it doesn't look that comfortable--Will the child wear it?" My sensitive child does not mind it. For the many loads of laundry this bib has saved me, and considering this is the only bib we have needed for the past year plus, it is well worth what we paid.

When my daughter eats watery fruits or food, this bib is useful. This is very easy to wash. I just throw it in the sink :) My daughter doesn't often spill these days, but I'm ready for using this again and again when she eats her food by herself. Only one complaint is that this is not much portable when we eat out― I always take it, though :)

It's OK. A bit too rigid when using with a really little, since it's longer than the high chair tray table is high. It hangs sideways as a result. No leaks from neckline so far!

I own two of these bibs- red and green.

My kids love it, and never complained. It catches EVERYTHING, very handy to have, and I wouldn't waste my money on any other bib. We've gotten so many compliments on them too.

The only thing is I'd wait until your child is at least 1 to start using it. It can be uncomfortable and too big on them! Other than that, it is a must have item for any moms with toddlers :)

We bought this because it looked like a great idea for my 8 month old daughter. Unfortunately because it is so hard, she hates it! I think when she gets a little older it will fit better and she will like it more but for now, it is just too hard for her.

I really like this bib because it's easy to clean. If you want you can throw it in the dishwasher. I also haven't used the other velcro close bibs we have since I got this one because she can rip those off. This really is a clutch item for feeding time!

I have 3 children, and this is one of my absolutely must have items. We did not have it with our first child, and after purchasing 10+ bibs for him, and then several more for my second child, I decided to just shell out for this more expensive bib. I was skeptical when I first got it. It seemed a little too small for my 15 month old, and it was hard plastic, but it turned out to be TOTALLY worth it. It goes on easily (and can be removed easily-even by a toddler, which is something to keep in mind. I just told my daughter that if she takes her bib off the meal is over, and that seems to have sunk in.), it is super easy to clean, and catches all that doesn't make it into our daughters mouth. It holds liquids as well as food crumbs. I wash it after each meal with our dishes, lay it to dry and it's ready for the next meal. After purchasing so many other bibs, I feel confident in saying that this bib will last my daughter until she no longer needs a bib. Im purchasing a second one for my 6 month old (only because her sister still needs hers). I am so happy with this bib, and regard it as one of the best baby items we own!
