My twins are 23 months (boys) and they can sit on it with ease. It seems comfortable for them. The shield works! That's a plus with boys. I don't think its worth the retail price because its so basic. The Bjorn is a basic potty made of two pieces of plastic. We found ours on sale. I would recommend it for the right price. Don't overpay.

smaller version of the larger bjorn potty chair (the "armchair" and "high back support" terminology for this particular one is inaccurate, i think taken from the larger potty chair description). we bought this as a second potty chair for our daughter who is more petite than her sister was - this chair sits a little lower and is overall smaller than our other bjorn potty chair, so it is easier for her to sit on. the bjorn chairs are great because they have a rubberized bottom, so the chair doesn't scoot around when your child attemps to sit. straightforward design, easy to clean up.

Small, cute, and has the front block to avoid boys from spraying out :) I am so motivated now that my two yr old is now using the potty that I am ready for my 9mo to start walking so I can get him started right away as well!
