When you break the tip off, you have to blow into it for a couple seconds and then do the bottom gums and then blow again and do the top gums.. the stuff takes way too long to go down on its own. That to me was no problem. they are real easy and simple and very instant. i gave it 4 stars cause it doesn't come with enough in the package!!!

We did not want to use this because it numbs the whole mouth instead of just where applied, but thank goodness we broke it out. The baby was crying for an hour and a half until we gave in and applied the Orajel. While he didn't like the taste and potentially the feel of his mouth numbing, once we put the pacifier back in, he calmed down and went back to sleep within 10 minutes. I highly recommend having this handy when the Tylenol just isn't cutting it.

My 1yo daughter seems to love the flavor (no weird expressions), and her pain is instantly relieved. Great product, but it is pricier than gel.

Easy to use. My son just chews on the swab at the end. Works great! They are spendy but worth every penny. When I had been poking my finger in his mouth to get orajel on his gums he was biting my finger.
LOVE THEM!

No more messy fingers with the tube. These swabs are great, crack the top so the q-tip like end fills up and dab away. Much easier to get to the back of the mouth.
