Comments about City Mini GT Double - Shadow/Orange:

I have a 4 1/2 year old, a 2 1/2 year old and a 6 month old. This was meant for my youngest two. I had a really hard time deciding between this and the Bob SE Duallie and finally went with this after checking out both of them in the store. This one won me over b/c it can fit a taller child. My 2 1/2 year old is by no means tall, she is pretty petite for her age (only weighs 20lbs soaking wet) yet was very close to the canopy on the Bob yet still had plenty of room in the mini GT double. Our 4 year old can fit it in too and she is 42 inches and about 30lbs. The other great thing is the canopy does come off if you need a little extra head room for a taller child from time to time. I also loved the easy fold...really so simple and makes it so painless. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is b/c it doesn't have a cup holder or any type of holder for the parent and I think when you are spending really close to $600, is a cup holder or parent console really that much to ask for...

So lightweight and easy to use! It's actually lighter than my single stroller. My kids love it and it's easy to navigate through the mall or the park. Durable and comfortable for my kids as well!

Comments about City Mini GT Double - Shadow/Orange:

We currently have the City Mini Single that Mom & Dad and our 19 mo. old son love to use. We are expecting our second son any day and were excited to get the City Mini GT Double. We bought our Double after talking with a Baby Jogger rep at [a now defunct] baby store who told us that the accessories for our City Min Single would be compatible with the Double.

We bought the Double stroller with the intention to configure the Double stroller initially with a Single Car Seat adapter on one side to fit our new born's car seat and a Single Belly Bar on the opposite side to accommodate my 20 month old. Eventually I would want to have two single Belly Bars, one each side so that each bar could be adjusted independently to the different sized boys.

Unfortunately the accessories for the Single are not compatible with the Double. The Double stroller has no "universal mounting brackets" in the seat opening in the center of the stroller so none of the City Mini Single Accessories will work with the City Mini GT Double. The only way to add a car seat adapter is to buy a new Double Car Seat Adapter ($$$) but then it is not possible for the 20 mo. old to have a Belly Bar. Then once the newborn is out of the car seat phase, if we wanted to use a Belly Bar we would have to purchase the Double Belly Bar ($$) but then the belly bar could only be adjusted to fit one size of two very different sized boys.

We are not sure we are going to keep the stroller or send it back. We are currently looking at other Double strollers to see if we can find one that better fits our needs. The Double stroller may be great for twins and children who are the same size, but it doesn't seem to be a stroller for the growing family.

Dear Baby Jogger, if you could just add the universal mounting brackets to the center post you would have our perfect stroller!

Comments about City Mini GT Double - Black/Shadow:

Mom of three... 5wk old, 2yr old and 6yr old - best stroller ever!! Came in a thin box and super easy to assemble wheels/shades. Easy to move through doorways, turns smoothly and kids are comfortable. My 2yr old doesnt want to get out of it!! Shes tall for her age and her feet dont touch the bottom of the foot rest yet and plenty of room for her head to move up as she growns! My 6yr old actually fits very comfortable and shes 60lbs!
My only complaint would be the basket - yes, the bar is curved to access easier than previous models, but still difficult to access. I almost think the company should provide access from front - if foot rests could lift up. This is the only reason i didnt give it a full 5 stars... although I guess if possible I would give it 4.75 stars!!
But all in all... most baskets are hard to access under! LOVE LOVE LOVE this stroller overall... cant believe I spent a car payment on a stroller, however WELL WORTH IT!! I would highly recommend this and would purchase this again!
