My mom purchased this for my daughter who was not adjusting well to sleeping in her own crib in her own room. I LOVE IT! We use it every night. The lights are a bit on the bright side, but the do dim down after 10 minutes. The dimming feature is great. The lights and music dim after 10 minutes, then after 10 more the lights turn off and the music dims very soft. A great feature to lull babies to sleep!

After reading a few books on sleep training and baby soothing I thought a toy such as this would be just right. Although a different one by Fisher Price was recommended by name, I thought this was close enough. WRONG! Overall, I think this toy would be perfect if not for the blaringly bright lights. The few times I turned it on during the night it was so bright that my baby was SQUINTING to avoid it. Ha! Needless to say, it woke her up waaay more than it relaxed her. During the day when the room isn't nearly as dark it seems to be fine (can't really tell that the lights are blinding during the day). If I could go back in time I would have bought the Fisher Price one instead.

This soother was a gift for our second baby who is a couple weeks from his due date. My 3 year old daughter wanted me to open the package so that she could check out the soother. She has since been enthralled by the soother; she points out all of the different types of fish and other sea life. She sets the soother on her big-girl bed for nap time. She just loves the thing, and I'm wondering if we shouldn't buy a second soother for our baby boy when he arrives, lol!

The friend who gave this soother reports that her infant grandchild just loves it! I think this soother is sure to be a hit for babies and toddlers!
