              Comments about Octoplush:

To me this toy seems so boring! But my 8 week old baby lovessss this! I set it in his crib with him while I use the bathroom! Also he loves staring at it while I change his diaper! I love that you can choose French, Spanish or english! Plus i think he'll love it once he recognizes the octopus from
              The DVDs!

              Great while it lasts

              Comments about Octoplush:

Son loves this toy; the songs are lively and happy...and I love that it teaches him other languages.

Problems are 1) as another reviewer notes, you can't wash it and 2) after a while of being chewed/pressed upon by baby, it starts to have a nervous breakdown. I had to shut it off recently, but before I did it started yelling the colors in random order, even though the "legs" weren't being pressed. "Rouge! Rouge! Jaune! Rouge!"

              So sad! :(

              Comments about Octoplush:

This held my son's interest from the beginning--even before he reached the recommended 3m+ age range. When he was 2 months old, I accidentally activated the music as I worked to get it from the packaging. My son was instantly fascinated. He never liked tummy time, so this was our go-to toy; we had to activate the sounds at first, but the music would sooth him every time, and it wasn't annoying for us to hear repeatedly.

Now at 7 months, my son continues to love his octoplush. This morning he was repeatedly starting and switching songs and then pressing the legs to make them say the colors. He also enjoys chewing on the hat and legs and just turning it this way and that to examine the colors.

Yes, this is top-heavy at times, and you can only spot clean it, but ours is holding up to repeated use. Baby loves it, which is the highest recommendation. I'm getting another one to gift to my new niece at Christmas.

                Comments about Octoplush:

the box that houses the sounds is sewed into head which makes it top heavy, doesnt sit up. also the unit it sewed in so if you have a baby that likes to chew and drool on their toys you cannot wash it. the good thing is the sounds are loud and clear and is educational.
