We had originally added a different, less expensive bouncer to our registry, but decided on this one based on a friends recommendation and the glowing reviews. We couldn't be happier! I love the minimalist look and the neutral colors- we love finding products that do not scream "baby" with bright colors and patterns, and this has a small footprint. Our son is 3 weeks old and we put him in this bouncer after eating when he is super fussy, and can just use our foot to bounce him. He often falls asleep, or just sits and watches the world contently. We look forward to using this for quite a long time. Worth every penny!! We didn't get this until our daughter was 3 months old, and I wish we had it sooner. The cloth backing is SO much better for infants' heads than the hard back of Fisher Price and other bouncy seats. The seat is incredibly easy to fold down and we travel with it every where (dinner parties, the grandparents, etc). We bought the wooden play toy, but suggest getting the First Love stroller toy instead. The wooden toy is not as interactive as others, and our daughter becomes disinterested quickly. We use another stroller toy on it, and she'll play for hours.

This bouncer has proven to be the one must have baby gear item that we would highly recommend. It looks deceptively plain, but it's surprisingly effective and durable. We got it when our son was fourth months old and wish we had just gotten this one from the beginning. We transitioned to this one after he outgrew his fisher price comfy bouncer chair at three months. He has since learned to bounce himself in it and prefers to sit in it for extended periods of time. I put him in it when I'm cooking in the kitchen, when I'm in the bathroom taking a shower, a when I'm on the computer checking my email. Before he ate solids foods, we could put him in it at meal time and my husband and I could eat together peacefully while bouncing it with our feet. It's also light and folds down flat making it very easy to transport. This bouncer is far superior to the other ones out there and is worth the price, especially because this one is useful up until baby is three years old, whereas other ones we purchased were useful for a short period of time and we had to invest in more gear.
