gave it as a gift to my two year old grand daughter who was always saying she was a doctor and she was so excited when she got it. An excellent pretend toy.

This had fabulous reviews, so I was ready to be impressed. Unfortunately, this set is so-so.
The box everything comes in is quite oversized for the pieces in the set, which has its pros and cons. If you don't plan on adding anything (doctor coat, fake scrubs, etc), it takes up a lot more space than necessary.
I don't know if we just received a "bad" pager, but it's not easy to trigger the sounds. You have to push each button in a very particular way to make it go off.
Our son loves the sounds the stethoscope makes, but the ear pieces are way too big and uncomforable. I remember the stethoscope from my childhood doctor's kit had small, soft rubber ear pieces that you could actually put in your ears. I will probably get a real stethoscope to replace this one.
Not sure if I would have kept this if he hadn't been there when I opened it.

My 2 year old daughter got this set for her birthday and she LOVES it. I never would have purchased this for her, thinking she was too young for this type of pretend, but I'm so glad someone else did. She plays doctor with her stuffed toys and dolls and likes to pretend when we're on the way to the doctor.

The storage box has tons of room to store other toys in it, so it lives in my car and I store all the "car toys" in it along with the doctor stuff. When we go somewhere with no toys, she always has her doctor box filled with cool stuff in the car.
