It works just like a pot of boiling water. It heats up you put the bottle in and theres no timer, so it can get really really hot. The only con to not just boiling a pot of water is this item doesnt need your stove.

I am SO dissapointed in this. It was pretty expensive considering all it does is heat up water. It works, I guess...but you have to watch it or it will make the milk really hot and burn your babies mouth. I have a three-year-old so standing by the bottle is not my only priority in the household. I'm not sure wny there is not a timer. All the other moms complained about this, but still gave it five stars... Secondally, the light turns off when it is actually heating, working and plugged in. Larger bottles do not fit in it. It is a terrible product. I hope to find something new.

Heats very quickly so it takes some getting used to in terms of timing. This is much more convenient than what I was doing - microwaving a bowl of hot water and putting the bottle in that. Plus, the price is right.

This bottle warmer has worked out very well. All you do is make sure the water level matches the quantity of milk in the bottle and turn the switch. It takes a few minutes but since it does a very good job of warming my bottles evenly (even those not of the avent brand) i say it is worth the wait. i agree with other users; you do have to watch out because it won't turn itself off which could cause the bottles to overheat. I have not used it for canned food yet.

Very easy to use. Pour the water up to the line where the milk is in the bottle and flip the switch on. In about 3 minutes, the milk is warmed. There is no timer so if you don't pay attention, the milk can get scorching hot. This is a bonus and a drawback because other bottle warmers (with timers) will sometimes shut off before the milk is warmed.
