I use this product on my son every day. Love its smell and it definitely gives you the feeling of being clean. I am giving it 4 stars because it does not produce lasting lather but then again since it is for an infant that is probably a good thing.

I wanted a soap that 1) wouldn't dry out my baby, 2) was more natural than not, 3) had a light, clean scent that wouldn't overpower that awesome baby smell, 4) was tear-free. Aveeno had good reviews (and as a brand has my vote) so I tried it. Glad I did. It checks off everything. My little girl smells clean and fresh and naturally so. We're only on sponge baths still, so i can't really speak to the bubbles and how long they last, but this will definitely be a bath time staple for us.

I've tried so many washes from California Baby to Johnson & Johnsons and this is my favorite. It is gentle, effective, and leaves your kids with a light and wonderful smell. I love the scent. This is one of the few baby hygiene products I will buy over and over again.

I love Aveeno products for myself and have always used them regularly since I have sensitive skin but don't want to spend a ton. I was so happy to find that they make baby skincare products when I had my son. The smell of this shampoo is great! I use it on his hair and as a body wash for him. It's sensitive and gentle and it doesn't even phase him if it gets in his eyes.

Very early on I found that Johnson & Johnson baby products caused bumpy little red rashes on my daughter's skin. Not only did it cause red rashes, my baby had patches of skin on the legs, arms, belly, back that felt scaly like a lizard. I still didn't know exactly why it did that being a first time mom. I got it as a nice little baby shower gift. (NOTE TO SELF: Oh heck no! I'd never give that irritating nightmare as a baby gift to anyone! Thanks, but no thanks! I ended up using the bottle of Johnson & Johnson baby bath wash as my own personal bathroom hand soap after I saw it sitting on the counter for weeks. Whatta waste!) I come to find out that she has a case of eczema after bringing her to the pediatrician. I tried using Cetaphil cleanser. Yes it's excellent too, but that stuff is super pricey and I have make sure that I use gobs and gobs of it just to make the baby feel clean everyday. My friend recommended Aveeno baby wash. Problem all solved! I bathe and shampoo her almost every afternoon. This all-in-one product works great and I love that mild fresh scent on her! I just use the original blue one because I'm not into that lavender scent. Who doesn't love that baby scent? No skin rashes or redness appear. No patchy scales either, just soft baby skin. The cradle cap issue wasn't really an issue for my daughter because I would gently massage baby oil on her head 5 minutes before her bath and then shampoo her hair. I use a baby's comb and gently massage her scalp with it specifically to remove the cradle cap off her before I rinse her hair and scalp with warm water. It's quite amazing whenever I tell my friends and relatives that my daughter has eczema, because when they touch the baby's skin it is always so soft and supple! They don't even believe me! I rarely have to use hydrocortisone for her breakouts either because she hardly every has any. I personally think this Aveeno baby wash has something to do with that! I surely wished they had a smaller bottle to carry in her diaper bag for those times we travel or whenever she stays overnight at Grandma's house. It's ok. I just leave a bottle of Aveeno Baby Wash at her house and we're all good to go! As a first-time-mommy it's great to hug and kiss my baby's soft skin and not baby-lizard skin! It's totally a great sign that I'm doing something right for her.

I love this baby wash. My daughter has bad eczema and it is so good on her skin. It's healed up at least 75 percent since we started using it. Great product all around

I found this product to have a very strong perfume smell. I would not have made this purchase if I knew how strong the smell would be.

As a first time mom- I tried EVERYTHING that got a decent review... California baby has a great smell but is "soupy" when you pour it in the tub and you use too much. Burts bees tended to dry our daughter's skin out and make it prone to rash. This was the only one that we use time and time again. My daughter has very sensitive skin and is now 14 months... our son is a newborn. Its excellent on both his extremely sensitive skin and my daughters toddler skin. Cant say enough good things about this product.
As a tip- we also use it with Mustella hydra-bebe cream. While the Mustella is kinda pricey (and a little goes a long way) the Aveno bath is very affordable. So between the two- we break even on budget.
Also- found that the Aveno creams were not as effective at really regenerating our daughter's skin. Maybe just a little too thick.

I used to wash my child's hair with this product and I just couldn't stand this fragrance. I think it is way too strong especially for baby wash and shampoo. It doesn't help to get rid of tangles.

great body wash and shampoo. but i mainly use this on my baby's body. it smells great and doesn't dry out my baby's skin.

for something so gentle, the price can't be beat!

I use both aveeno and a Johnson & Johnson mousterizing wash on my newborn in the bath and noticed that his skin is drier with the Aveeno but his cradle cap improves with the Aveeno.

Our kids had major issues with dry skin and rashes last winter, and the dr recommended this product. It has been great. During the summer we have used a less expensive brand, but we will be going back to it during the winter.

This is really the best wash that I have found. It smells wonderful and it is so gentle on my son's sensitive skin. I find that I have to use less of it than other products, so it lasts longer. Highly recommended.

My one son has VERY dry skin "chicken skin" as his Ped calls it...this soap heals his skin in one washing! Rinses clean and keeps him smelling YUMMIE!
