I am not a big fan of the smell of baby powder. I tend to prefer lavender. This has a gentle lavender scent. It's not too strong. It doesn't dry my son's skin. I use it with the lotion. I've been thinking of ditching my expensive lavender shower gel and using this instead.

We started bathing baby everyday around 3 months and found this was the best at keeping him moisturized. It doesn't take much to get the bath water a little bubbly and each bottle lasts a little over a month. As for the calming lavender, I don't really know if it does anything to help calm baby because he loves bath time period!
