I have four kids (5, 4, 2 1/2, and 7 months old). I've been using this lotion ever since having my first, and now it's all I use on myself. I have one in every car, purse, and bathroom in my house! This lotion REALLY isn't greasy as so many claim to be but are still oily. The smell is pleasant, and my skin looks the best after using this. Obviously it's just as great on my babies! I will be buying this lotion for the rest of my life!

Our daughter has had sensitive skin from the get go. We went through so many frustrating bottles of lotion that claimed organic, sensitive-skin quality but did not deliver as our daughter developed rash after rash.

We were so relieved to have found this lotion. It is so mild and effective, and our daughter even eats it once in a while with no complaints!

There are so many bad lotion products out there for babies/toddlers, it is difficult to weed through them all. I try to save new parents the hassle by recommending this lotion to them. Glad to see diapers.com carries it and at an affordable price.

I hadn't yet used it on my baby, so I was using it for my hands occasionally when in her room. I was noticing that everytime I put it on, it would sting. My own adult lotion doesn't sting, so I pitched it. I don't want to put it on my baby if it stings my adult skin. Not as mild as I would have thought.

I use this product whenever I find a dry patch. This winter is the worst! My daughter had a huge dry patch on her tummy. I put the lotion on her tummy after I changed a diaper, and in 48 hours the dry skin was completely gone. I also use it on my hands for winter skin. It does have a mild faint odor that quickly disappears after you use it. It absorbs quickly into your skin. It doesn't leave any scent on your skin. I'm definitely buying it again.

Here in Colorado, the air is so drying! I tried a few other products and did not like them nearly as well. This really seemed to moisturize my daughter's dry skin, and absorbs quickly without being greasy. My little girl can also be pretty sensitive - one brand of wipes gives her instant rash, so I like that this lotion seems gentle. I thought that the smell was mild and fine - I was happy that it was not perfumed like so many others.

This lotion is very mild. Consistency is nice and creamy, but not too heavy. I prefer a lotion that absorbs quickly into my little ones skin, and this does the job. My son develops eczema primarily from dietary offenders, but also from products with fragrance. This product (although unscented) has a very light smell, not yummy but not offensive either. It provides soothing protection from the elements (we live near the ocean - lots of salt in the air and harsh coral dust). Excellent product.

I LOVE Avalon's Gentle Tear-Free Shampoo & Body Wash. It smells wonderful and does a great job. I didn't bother to read the reviews before I ordered the lotion and I should have. The lotion doesn't smell at all like the shampoo & body wash (which is what I wanted) and it does have an odd smell to it like the other reviewer said that I didn't like at all. Also, I thought it was thin and a little greasy. I generally prefer to use a thicker creamier type of lotion.

i really LOVE the Avalon baby wash/shampoo (the smell is fantastic!) so I was thinking with similar ingredients in the lotion it would be the same...then i noticed it said fragrance free? smells odd, not flying too well with me but it's a good lotion nonetheless.
