We used to love these diapers. But they have apparently changed the tabs such taht they don't stick very well. We used a piece of tape to make sure the diaper didn't fall off! And we are going to return the rest.

Stay away from the current version of this diaper.

First of all, they don't stay fastened/on. Within minutes the diaper would be falling on my son as he runs around (even with a onesie on). They run a bit small, so keep that in mind if you want to try these. They are very stiff. Because they didn't stay of very well, I didn't even try them overnight or anything. If you are looking for an eco friendly disposable diaper, I had much better luck with Nature Babycare Nature.

We are a cloth diapering household, but for the occassional babysitter I will often have a disposable diaper on hand. These looked to fit the bill for environmental impact and for the safety of my child the few times she is not in cloth. I wanted to love them, but they are really bad. My 30 pound toddler couldn't even fit in the largest size (Size 5, for 27+ pounds). The velcro immediately popped open. I tried to secure it under clothing, but she complained of the texture/itchiness of them. And honestly, I don't blame her- they are stiff! I hope they get improved in the future!

I ordered them cause they are mostly bio-digradable. i wish i was not, but iam disappointed! Velcro opens up on my 21 mo old son,to use up bought diapers i use g-diapers pants to hold them up. leak through out the night on my 5 mos old every night (used 3 nights). Now ordered Naty. They are great. I'll go back to them after use up the stash of Attitude. i may try Attutude in the future, if the company improves velcro(i heard it was good before)and a better fit. i have size 3 on my 5 mos old(leaks at night), (used that size on him since he was 3 mos old with naty and seventh generation- no leaks).

Got a small pack for my 12 mo old since 7th Gen size 4 has been out of stock for a while and thought it may just be a good stand-by since we used Attitude newborn diapers and I although I prefered 7th Gen, I did not have any particular issues with Attitude diapers in terms of performance.
that was NOT the case with size 4 toddler version.
the biggest issue with that diper and faulty design which leads to other problems like fit and leakage. By poor design I mean the following:
1. the diaper is LONG from front to back AND NARROW from side to side. my 12 mo old boy is LONG and skinny. I MEAN 10% in weight and 90% in height - you get the picture and I was barely able to fasten it around his waist... and that brings another design flaw into play, which is...
2.terrible velcro straps which are aslo insufficiently narrow and often impossible to unfold making lots of diapers UN-usable.
so between barely wrapping that thing around my son's waist and struggling to make it stay I ended up walking to a local store and buying my 7th Gen diapers instead.

Pros: The best thing about these dipes is that they don't give my wee one a rash, like other disposables. We normally use cloth, but sometimes you need a dispo.
Cons: weird shape, narrow and very high waisted. Babies are not shaped that way! The tabs are not sticky enough and tend to come undone, especially since you have to really stretch them due to the narrowness of the dipe. This can be disastrous for a messy dipe, which we get pretty regularly.
I give them a qualified endorsement.

First of all, BRAVO for an eco-friendly, biodegradable diaper. However, the tabs are hardly secure and these diapers leak like crazy. I'm not even through half the bag of diapers and I've had 4 poop-leaked diapers. I keep trying to like these diapers--I really want to--but I don't think I'll be buying these again. I'm pushing myself just to get through the rest of the pack. I normally use a combo of Seventh Gen & Grovia diapers and have loved both. Disappointed that Seventh Gen's diapers aren't biodegradable with the amount of diapers we go through. I have 2 babies in diapers (3mos & 21 mos) so you can imagine the frustration with leaks, stained clothing, and poo on crib sheets. Granted, I've only used these diapers for my 3 month old, exclusively breast-fed daughter. I WILL try a bag for my toddler, but NOT for my 3 month old. I love mother earth, but I need my sanity and every spare moment counts. If I keep using these diapers for the sake of them being biodegradable I won't be around much longer to enjoy their gentle, loving effects on nature--I'll be either buried under a pile of soiled laundry or emitted into an insane asylum.

We use cloth diapers at home and these for travel. These are a great eco-friendly option. They are plain which for a disposable diaper is very important to me as I am not advertizing characters on my child and I also don't need chemical colors. I am surprised by the other reviewer as these diapers seem very soft and just great to us. We are using size 3 now, but purchased the size 1-2 when he was born. I have used these and Nature Babycare and overall prefer these as they seem to stretch more.

These are really good diapers. They are a bit less elastic in the waist and sometimes the tabs rip if pulled too hard, but I attribute these things to the lack of plastic / petroleum products in the diapers which make them BIODEGRADABLE. Those things aside, they are soft, prevent leaks well, my son seems to like them, and they are biodegradable - which I LOVE. Overall a really good biodegradable diaper!!

I would not buy these again. I was using the Nature Babycare diapers and found them a little papery, thought I'd try these out. They are even more stiff than the others. I like that they have no cartoons or designs, but they cannot possibly be comfortable. I switched from Pampers Sensitive at size 3 because that's when they stop really being "Sensitive" since they're scented. I feel better about using a more ecofriendly option, but not at the expense of my kid's comfort. It will be back to Nature Babycare for us.
