The battery died after very few uses. I replaced it (what a pain-had to unscrew so many TINY screws) and put it back together and it worked for 2 baths then quit again. I am not about to take it apart and deal with it again.
When it was working, it also would not stop beeping long after it was out of the water.

Worked well until it stopped working when my daughter was about 18 months old. Otherwise, it was ok although I wasn't crazy about the beeping when the water was too hot or cold because when you empty the tub it always goes off!

Simple to use - just drop it in the water and it reads the temperature in Celsius and Fahrenheit. No on/off switch. The baby likes to play with it, too.

This thermometer is perfect!! Bright colors / perfect size. I would have given it 5 stars, but my only concern is my daughter is teething now and llllloves to chew on everything and this toy has some not so teething-friendly surfaces...or maybe im just too protective of a mom.
What I did is I have this thermometer to monitor the temperature and soft toys for her to chew on. This is the perfect arrangement... the only problem is she LOVES the size of this thermometer.. hugs it.. plays with it forever. cant wait for her to get passed this teething stage. All in all, this thermometer is the best!

This product is the best.especially for newborns.i was always so nervous the water is too hot or too cold was never sure whats the right temp,but with this turtle all u gotta do is put it into the water and within a few seconds. it shows the temp. and whats even better is that it continues to show the temp. and if the water gets cold while bathing it will beep and ill just add hot water.Its just makes me so calm. i have this product almost a year and i use it every second day and my baby tosses it and what not, so it does seem to work a little weaker then used to, it takes little more time to display temp.but overall its great it works i would recommend it to anyone.

this thermometer is great i wish i had known about it when my baby was still newborn, i would have no worries if water is too cold or hot.another great thing is that i keep it in water and it beeps when the water got too cold especially now my baby sits longer in tub she enjoys playing there so i quickly add hot water. its so easy to use and cute too just love it, for me it was worth it even though its a bit pricey.
