My daughter has eczema and it is a battle to keep her skin well moisturized, especially with a bedtime routine that includes a bath. Petroleum Jelly has been around forever-because it works! Sure, it's greasy and it takes longer to absorb, but I think that's kind of the point. A little goes a long way with this stuff.

This is an excellent product. We use it all the time. It doesn't irritate our baby's skin and seems to heal any kind of rash or irritation in only a day or two. We go through the tub quickly. The only thing I don't like is that you have to scoop it it out with your fingers and it is hard to wash of in the sink.

My 18 month old has eczema and we have been using it on her daily on her problem spots and all over after each bath since she was 6 months old. It keeps her skin hydrated and protected. I also started coating her butt with it after every diaper change after she had a break out on her diaper area. Its a bit greasy but its the only thing that has worked for us outside of prescription hydrocortizone.

I use Aquaphor for all of my baby's skin care needs. Tried Exederm, but still didn't work as good as this stuff. I even carry some around in my diaper bag; I use it on his lips/face.

I use this with every single diaper change. I am 100% sure that Aquaphor is the reason my boys have never had a single diaper rash. No icky white residue either.

A previous poster mentioned it is the same thing as vaseline. No it is not. Look at the inactive ingredients as well. The main ingredients are the same, but Aquaphor contains mineral oil and lanolin.

I recommended using this product with cetaphil since Aquaphor is NOT a moisturizer, rather a skin protectant. If you have a baby/toddler with eczema, lather on the cetaphil after baths, then rub aquaphor in your hands until warm, and spread a thin layer over your baby's skin. Helps keep the dermatologist and the skin steroids away!

I used it for dry skin on my baby girl. It's gressy but it works. I also used it during the winter.

This product has really helped my baby's dry spots to clear up. I apply it after I give him a bath, or if I notice his skin is looking particularly dry. I have noticed that after using it for a few days on the dry or irritated patches it has cleared up and his skin is soft again. I would recommend this product to anyone who lives in a dry or cold climate, or if their child gets dry patches occasionally. The only con for me is that it is a little greasy, but it has vaseline in it, so you can't really exptect it to not be a little greasy.
