I think this pump is a great buy. The price can't be beat and it works just fine. It is a little loud so it may not be the best choice for working mom's who have to pump repeatedly at work. I purchased it to build up a supply of breast milk for the occasional times that I might be away from my baby. I would definitely recommend it.

If you are looking for a pump that barely does what it's designed to do (pump!) this is the one or you. I have a single Medela pump that gets literally 3-4 times the amount that Ameda gets. So we are talking 2 ounces from the Ameda for both breasts vs 6-8 oz. in the same amount of time 15 minutes. I'm writing Ameda because I am so startled and disappointed

So far so good. It's doing the job as promised. I also like the Store 'N Pour pump adapters and storage bags (available separately) that hook onto the adapter to help avoid spillage.

I love this pump! I read every review out there on all different pumps and finally decided on the Ameda due to the number of positive reviews, the ability to purchase the pump alone without the ugly bag, the ease of cleaning, and how lightweight it was. I have not been disappointed. I can easily throw the pump in my diaper bag for portability and it is not too heavy. [@] sells most of the replacement parts and accessories if needed. I also love that I only have to clean the breast shields after each use. The pump is very quiet and easy to use. I would highly recommend for a full time pumping mom.

I work full-time and have been using this pump for 4 months now, and it is great. It is very efficient and I can get 2 4oz bottles filled in about 15 minutes! The best part was my hospital gave me an Ameda manual kit after giving birth, and so I have two sets of hoses/bottles/falange-thing so I can leave one at work and just transport the pump itself back and forth.

I used this pump when my daughter was first born and used it every so often. I went to use it one day and the pump no longer worked. I called Ameda and they sent one out right away. It did not work either. Called them back, same thing happened. I'm extremely disappointed because there were so many good reviews. I am hoping for a refund so that I can purchase something that will sustain itself. I would hate for an EBP mom to use this and it just not work. My daughter doesn't rely on a bottle and that's the only thing that has saved us.

I tried my sister's big name pump and it was ok. I ended up buying this one and it is far superior! It just works better and is much easier to clean. After about 7 months of use twice a day, I noticed the suction was getting less, I called the company to ask them what to do and they SENT ME A NEW ONE free shipping and had ups come pick up my old one also at no cost to me. This level of customer service should be awarded. A great pump from a great company. Get this one!

This pump is great for casual use or regular use. I used it every once in awhile for the first 6 months and now i'm back to work and using it 3 days a week. I usually get 7-9 ounces in 15 or so minutes. I hate cleaning it but it seems to have less parts than the rest and you don't have to clean the tubing. I bought the ameda storage bags that go with it and they tie with a twist tie and are not user friendly so i switched to lasinoah (sp) bags and they are way better. Overall this is a good pump for the money.

Purchased this pump on recommendation of hospital lactation consultant. First off, without the bells and whistles it is over $100 less than other pumps with the SAME motor.

This pump is great because of the closed system (you do not have to clean any tubing!)

Secondly, this is just as good as the commercial ameda in the hospital that sells for $950 and rents for like $50 a month. So in 3 months, it has paid for itself.

I am a new mom to a 1 month old - I use this pump every other day or so, it is fast and convenient.

I bought the ameda storage bags and adapter kit and pump directly into the bags which saves time and cleaning!

I love this pump. I don't normally write reviews but this pump has been so great, I felt compelled to tell other moms...I am using it to increase my milk supply and store milk so my husband can participate and give my son a bottle. I pump for a few minutes on both breasts after every feed and then for about 10-12 minutes the times he gets said bottles. The pump is comfortable and quick and super easy to clean. I hate those bags pumps come with and they are so much more $$$. This pump is really small so it fits into my diaper bag anyway. Plus, the battery compartment means you don't need to pump near an electrical socket if you don't want to. Yes, the beeping is marginally annoying but it's a small price to pay for how otherwise brilliant this Ameda pump is. I am using the pump with the Tommee Tippee "system" from Babies R Us. They have pump adapter rings that screw right onto the Ameda pump for even easier use. I highly recommend this pump.

This is wonderful!! Absolutely worth it, if anyone needs to get an electric breast pump I say look no further, this affordable and effective! Plus Ameda is one of only 2 brands (the other one being lesser-known)of pumps that can be used by others simply by buying a new "hygenikit" making it much greener option than other pumps which have to be thrown away after the first user :(

It's easy to use, super easy to clean, efficient and effective.

I used this after my baby was born to keep up my milk supply while he was being fed formula during his 3 week hospital stay in which he was not eating. It was very easy to use and efficient. It worked just as well as the hospital pump which was a medula. I quickly empty each breast within ten minutes. I was able to successfully breastfeed after his hospital stay and at 11 months old.. I contnue to breast feed him.. If it wasnt for this pump I would not have been as successful.
It can be noisy and people will know you are using the pump but that never bothered me as much as it did my husband.I easily brought this around with me and pumped every 3 hours. The ease in which I filled the bottles were amazing. This pump is very powerful. After a while though I felt that the pump could be a bit more stronger on the pull and pump force but that is just me. It never compromised my milk production. Great product and very inexpensive compared to how strong the pump works. Very easy to use a sport bra or nursing bra to pump with no hands, just cant walk around and pump at the same time. Made pumping not so much as a chore as it would have been using another brand. Double pumping is better for your milk production too.

I love this pump. The only thing I hate is how loud it is. I am breastfeeding and pumping but I still get 3-4 ounces at a time. It is super fast and efficient.
When I got home from the hospital I would pump and I turned the suction and cycle all the way up, save your nipples and start the suction low, I kept the cycle up though. It helps because I can pump enough in a bottle and let dad feed her at night so I can get some rest.
This is worth the money.
