Comments about One Hand Breast Pump:

I purchased this product to have milk for dad to use while I run errands and to have stored milk for when I return to work. I generally pump for about 5-6 minutes each time. I usually get between 1 and 2.5 ounces each time, which is about all my baby eats for now (she's only 6 weeks old). I have used the pump between 20 and 30 times and so far, I like it a lot. I had to get the flanges for larger breasts (unfortunately, I pumped for 4 months with my 6 years old using flanges that were probably too small and uncomfortable - if I had known then that I could get more comfortable flanges, I probably would have pumped longer).

This pump compares favorably to the Avent Isis (the one I used in 2003, anyway). The Ameda hand pump wins out on price.

Comments about One Hand Breast Pump:

This pump was given to me by the hospital at which I gave birth. It works. I don't use it often because it is quite painful. The suction is good though and cleaning is a breeze. It's great if you don't pump often.

Comments about One Hand Breast Pump:

I recieved this pump from the hospital when I gave birth. I never tried another kind because this one worked just fine for what I needed. I only pumped a couple times a day so that my husband could enjoy feeding our son for a little while. I could take it anywhere with me which was nice.

I didn't enjoy the squeaky noise it made with every pump. It was embarrasing if I had a phone call and woke my newborn up if we were in the same room. I just learned to go in the bathroom or my bedroom. Also, because it's manuel, and often painful, I would hesitate filling up the bottle. I knew the next squeeze would hurt more than the last.

Comments about One Hand Breast Pump:

I got this pump from the hospital and it is not good at all. It is very uncomfortable and hurts your hand because it is wide where you express, it maybe worked alright for a week or two, but if you have small hands like me youll have sore hands.

This pump is the best manual pump I have ever used. I tried Avent and Medela also and I rate this the best.
