This product is fun and great for the first few uses, but then a black mold substance forms around the squirt hole. It's pretty gross because it starts to float around in the tub water.

Personally I'm looking for similar toys with no squirt hole.

Does my baby love these? Emphatically yes. She loves them so much she takes them with her when she leaves the bath. Unfortunately, no matter how much she loves them, I can't let her have them any more. Like other reviewers have stated, I noticed brown junk coming out of them when squirted. There is no way to clean the inside of this without cutting it open. So I've been slowly tossing them as each one goes bad. If you only give one at a time and ration them, I guess they might last six months but I think there are better bath toys.

As much as my daughter loves to play with these while taking a bath, they get dirty and mildew fairly quickly and it is near impossible to clean. She likes to suck and chew on them which prompted me to "perform surgery" to see what was going on inside. After I cut one open, I was disgusted by what I saw. I wasn't even able to hand the toy down to my dog it was so gross. I tried to clean them using a baking soda and vinegar solution to no avail. I definitely think the health risks associated with these toys out weigh the benefit.

This set of 5 squirters is really cute, and the set I purchased included a storage bag with a mesh bottom for easy water drainage. However, my daughter lost interest in them after a few times in the tub. They're very difficult to squirt as well. You basically have to force the water to come out of the squirt openings. When I do manage to squirt some water, my daughter is annoyed by it! She isn't interested in trying to squirt them herself (she is now 22 months old, and we've had them for a year). As someone else mentioned, they definitely mildew, and there isn't much you can do about it.

These are fun in the bath but do not keep them for long...Water inevitably gets left/trapped inside and eventually causes the inside to mildew. After a few months I noticed brown pieces coming out and I cut one open to find mildew covering the inside...very gross.

My toddling twin girls like these cute little sea creatures in and out of the bath. We take them with us when we travel too since they are small and lightweight and not too noisy for airplanes. Good fun for the pool as well.

The first time I put them into my son's bathtub, he loved them!! But unfortunately that's also the end of it... not sure why. Too bad. They are cute and colorful though.
