I bought this costume in size 6-12 months for my son, who is 18 pounds and 26 inches long. It was a little big and long, but better than too small.

The costume looked very cute in the package, but I had three problems with it. First, it is 100% polyester, not 100% cotton as advertised. The cloth is like sweatshirt material, with an outer smooth knit and an inner fuzzy fleece. My son was very hot in it (we were at an indoor party) and the polyester did not breathe. Second, I washed the costume before my son wore it, as I do all of his baby clothes. The inner fuzzy fleece left white lint all over the black felt-like rolled collar. Tape would not clean the lint off; I had to carefully cut each little piece off so I would not tear the cheap black fabric by picking off the lint. Finally, when I prepared to dress my son in his costume, one of the cheap plastic snaps (third down, on the chest) broke. There was no way to fix it, so I had to hot glue the plastic to the fabric. This fix made the costume wearable for this one party, but it can not be worn again. I had to throw it away, which for this price is too bad because I could have sold it on consignment or given it away next year.

The only good thing that I can say about this costume is that the manufacturer, Aeromax, makes an identical costume in adult sizes. My husband, who is 5'9" and 180 pounds, wore the Adult Large. I am 5'4" and 130 pounds and wore the Adult Small. It was fun to wear matching costumes with our baby!
