        From the Company
“As a young woman growing up in Australia, our founder Raegan Moya-Jones was introduced to many traditional practices of motherhood. One of them in particular — swaddling babies in generously sized, gentle muslin sheets — amazed her. Even the fussiest babies seemed to sleep more peacefully in muslin. Despite the hot days and the cold nights, muslin swaddles helped keep babies comfortable. And, most importantly, the very act of swaddling seemed to build a bond between mothers and their babies.” —aden + anais

Comments about (aden) life's a hoot- Sleeping Bag:

I read the reviews about this sleepsack being too thin and all the people who said it ripped within the first few months. Well I ordered it anyway and sure enough the reviews were right. It ripped along the zipper seam, pretty much from top to bottom. We have the thicker (winter) sleep sack and it was great so I thought this would be too. Wish it was better quality because I really love this line.

Comments about Oh Girl! Sleeping Bag:

This sleep sack is magic. The fabric is very lightweight and yet somehow keeps our little one nice and warm. We used it throughout the summer and then switched to the heavier one for winter. It did rip along one seam (easily sewed it up), but I do think our little one was outgrowing that size, once we upgraded to the next size, we didn't have an issue with the fabric tearing. Also, the zipper sometimes comes apart. Washes well, dries fast.

              Comments about Boys-N-Toys Sleeping Bag:

There is nothing wrong with this sleep sack, and I'm a big fan of Adan and Anais swaddle blankets, but this sleep sack is too light weight to be of any use. It provides no warmth. Even in the warmer months we keep the house cool and so prefer to dress our daughter in a heavy sleep sack. We never use this one. I recommend going with a cotton, heavier-weight sack.

              Comments about Boys-N-Toys Sleeping Bag:

These sleeping bags are perfect for summer. My little man wears footed pj's at night, but needs a lightweight blanket too and these are just right. He also wears them for naps with a onesie and they are perfect for this too. He gets too hot in other sleepsacks, but this one keeps him warm without overheating him. I think they will be good for winter too with fleece pj's. I gave them four stars instead of five because the zipper is not the best quality. It comes apart at the top sometimes and I have to rezip it. I have had 3 of these and use them every night and they are still in good shape though, no ripping or falling apart.

We have used these for about 6 months in 2 different sizes and love them! Our baby sleeps in long sleeve PJs year round and this blanket is just enough added warmth. She doesn't wake up sweaty like some other cotton blankets we tried.

I ordered two of these and love them! We live in FL so it is great to have something so lightweight. In response to other reviews, we have not had any tearing after several washes...and that is with a very active sleeper. My lo currently weighs around 14 lbs and has plenty of room in the small. My only complaint is the zipper. Although it hasn't broken, it is made of plastic and can get off track if I'm not very careful with it. If not for the zipper, I would have given this product 5 stars.

my baby is 9 weeks and i have used my A n A sleep sack since he was 3 weeks old. i have yet to find any tears in the material it is just as good as the day i bought it. the material is lightweight and just enough for the summer nights here in northern arizona. my only complaint is that sometimes the zipper is hard to connect, but that won't stop my from buying another one.

We love A+A products and were excited about this sleep sack for hot nights...unfortunately, we only used it once on our newborn and noticed that it was falling apart on the sides. Either the material is too thin where it is hemmed or the stitching isn't done correctly. I've used my sewing skills to repair it but it's just a temporary fix because it continues to tear in other places all along the edges. We do love how thin it is on the body because we don't use AC and summer nights can be hot & humid where we live.

I'm with the other reviewers...love these sleep sacks because of their weight and softness (we live near the water in southern CA) - 5 stars. However, the shoulder seam ripped completely open in the first wash, so for quality, it gets 1 star. I can fix it easily, but for the price, these should definitely hold up to a little wear and tear.

                  Comments about Boys-N-Toys Sleeping Bag:

We don't have air conditioning, so on warm nights I need something really lightweight. These are great because they add just enough of an extra layer over PJs. The problem is the quality is not good. They tear so easily. They should be a lot cheaper to make up for this. The problem is there is no good alternative. The other sleep sacks we have seen are just heavier and too hot on the warmer nights. I would have given this 2 stars but for the fact that it is really the only thing out there to serve its purpose, and for that it should get some credit.

I was really disappointed with this A+A sleeping bag. My friend told me that it was supposed to be great - turns out that she had not used it. It was a joke - the fabric was not as soft are claimed, it looked bad after washing and the fabric is so thin that I decided not to bother - it was obvious that the PJs would have to be really warm - because this sleeping bag is totally without merit. Don't waste your money.

Sleep sacks are a must for safe sleeping and these sleep sacks are great for warmer weather. So lightweight and comfortable. They are long enough to wear one size for awhile. My son loves these, he has never wanted to be swaddled! They wash up nice. Havent found any other sleep sack that is lightweight and comfortable as these. Would highly recommend!

Comments about Flower Patch Sleeping Bag:

We love this sleep sack, we have 2, and have just ordered another. I really like these for the same reason the other reviewers don't:

The zipper is light, and doesn't get in the way of my baby. It is also well-covered at the top, so I don't worry about it hitting her little chin. Does this make it a little less durable? Maybe, but we haven't encountered any issues that weren't easily fixed. When she was born, we purchased a Halo sack (with a big bulky zipper) and because of the poor design, it has never been used. We use our A&A sacks every night.

The fabric is also light, just like the swaddle blankets, but it keeps your little one cozy (and safe) when not much added warmth is needed. We have the winter version for cooler weather.

For those having issues with tears, maybe they need to size up, or were pushing the size limits of their sack. Our little kicker hasn't made a dent in any of ours.

All in all, one of my favorite baby purchases, and it will become my go-to gift for newly pregnant friends. One of the few things I wish I would have had the night we got home from the hospital.

Comments about Safari Friend Sleeping Bag:

It is true that these tear easily, and that the zipper is poor quality. I have yet to find, however, another sleep sack that is so lightweight. Because of the layout of our apartment, my son's room is hot almost year round, whether because of the temperature in the summer or the excessive heat in our building, and especially his room, during NY winters. The only window in his room is to the fire escape, so we can't put an a/c in it or leave it open overnight. Sleep sacks are a total part of his sleep routine, and I can't find another that serves that purpose but adds so little heat. I just don't expect them to last much more than 3 months, and then i'm not disappointed.

My 6 month old baby girl used this sleep bag for less than a week when I noticed large tears in the bag. It is now unusable. I'm trying to get some sort of a replacement, but I would not get this bag again. Maybe the thicker one is more durable, but this product is not durable at all. It's too bad, because the patterns are so cute and I loved the swaddle blankets.
