My two youngest kids both have these blankets - we have about 8 of each in pink and blue so we can wash them often. They sleep with them, hold then for comfort - bascially they get taken everywhere. I don't know what the magic ingredient is - but these blankets seem to have it for my kids.

I love this security blanky! My 5 month old loves it, too! It is very thin so I don't worry about suffocation and it is so soft. He always snuggles up with it for naptime. His teachers at daycare think he is more calm at naptime because he has something small to remind him of home. It definitely provides security! All in all, very happy with the purchase.

This is a great item! My 8 month old started sleeping with it around 4 months and it is perfect. He takes a pacifier but seemed to need something more to fall asleep and get back to sleep when he woke up. Both my older children just used large heavy security blankets since they were about 18 months so this was something new. Since it was so thin, I felt comfortable putting it in the crib with him. It has really done the trick! Now I just rub it against his cheek and his eyes start to get tired! Or it he falls and gets hurts, I grab it while I'm comforting him and it helps! If your baby need a little something to grab onto and you are worried because they are still young, this really worked for us!

My toddler and i are big fans of adan + anais products, we have been since she was in the womb. Her issie is her best friend and what she turns to when she needs an extra bit of love and comfort. We absolutely Love them. They have gotten us through many (potentially) sleepless nights. They go everywhere with us. We never, ever leave the house without one. We started out with 4, but over the last 2 years we have found ourselves with only one left. You could imagine what it's like when it's time to pry it out of my daughter's hands to wash it - not a pretty picture. I recently purchased more to find out that the material had been changed, a satin trim had been added around the edges. I gave it to my daughter without mentioning it, hoping it would pass off as her old faithful friend. No such luck. Not only did she not take it, she was downright offended that I even called that satin edged thing her issie. I have searched and searched and searched to no end to find the original style, but my efforts have left me empty handed and with a very cranky toddler.

Considering that the entire purpose of the tiny (and super pricey!) blanket is security and comfort, I just can't understand why a company would change the material that so many babies have become so attached to and discontinue the original style. The satin edged style is nice and I'm sure there are plenty of babies who love it, but my kiddo wouldn't even look at it. It was a total waste of money.

Bought this for my 5 month old as she did not have anything for security/sleeping/comfort (hated the pacifier). She did like blankets (esp the muslin type), so I decided to try these. She is now 10 months old and LOVES her blankie from day one. She takes it with her everywhere and it seems to give her comfort. I have since purchased another set (in case it gets lost). The material is super soft and washes easily. I also noticed that the material is breathable, which is important because my daughter always puts the blankie over her face and mouth. The material is so thin, you can breathe right through it. This purchase was priceless and I would recommend/buy again in a heartbeat!!!!
