My daughter has to be swaddled or she will jerk and wake herself up, these are amazing! They stretch so you can swaddle tightly but are still breathable. I get these for anyone I know having a baby!

Got these as a baby gift and thought "Oh, more blankets". I was so wrong, these are absolutely amazing and so versitle. So lightweight and great to use as a cover while nursing without getting hot. In the summer, great at ballgames to keep the sun off without getting overheated. Great covers for stroller or car seat to keep sun off while sleeping. Also can use to swaddle the baby for bed/naps. The list of how to use these goes on forever. The more you wash them, the softer they get. This was one of the best baby gifts we got and we will use them all year long as they are so wonderful. I will definately continue to buy these for other friends having babies.

The designs on these blankets are really cute. However, a word of precaution - these will really pile the first couple times you wash them. Your dry will be full of cotton as well. However, after about 10 washes/dry they are VERY soft and look normal. Very lightweight and very breathable, good for summer and all around blankets. Could place over stroller for sun protection. My daughter is now a toddler and likes to use them for picnic blankets on the carpet.
