      • Mommy got me a brand new potty!

        But I'm not ready yet!

I want to run and play.

Uh-oh, I peed in my pants.

        But Mommy says, "That's okay!"

Children will love following along and lifting the flaps to see the child play, sit on thepotty, eat, sit on the potty, sleep, and then sit on the potty...until finally there is success.

Written from a child's point of view, this new potty-training book will help children join in the final refrain, "I'm so proud of me!"

Good book, but not a board book

By Terina, mother of an 18mth old

My daughter is rough on books and I ordered it specifically because I thought it was a board book. The pages are made of a thick paper, and my daughter does love to read it, but I was a little disappointed.

Great for 16+ mo old girl

My daughter has lovd this book and I think it is why she has an early interest in the potty and in diapers. She loves the lift the flaps and it is a very positive, encouraging but not pushy message.

      Great Potty Book

I love this book, and so does my daughter. I think it was very helpfull during potty training. She loves the bright colors and large illustrations. The child in it is generic so could be a boy or girl to make it apply to everyone. I've looked at many potty books, and I think this one is the best.

      Great starter book

This book is the reason my 2 year old started going on the potty in the first place. He didn't want to have anything to do with sitting on his training seat but when we got this book he started sitting on the potty just to get a chance to read it! He isn't quite as immersed in it anymore but he still goes! It's a great starter book but to keep your child's attention it's best to get a few others.

      You have nothing to lose

My daughter really responded to this book. The easy rhythm of the words relaxes her enough to do the job and the pictures have enough details to make it interesting every time.

      My daughter loves this book.

This book keeps my daughter on the potty long enough for her to go pee or poo poo. She gets very excited and can't wait flip the page to see what the little toddler is about to do. Personally I like the page about accidents and that it is okay to have one.

      Not great for boys

      By Kris, mother of 1

My 19-month-old son is mildly interested in the book. I think it may be hard for him to relate and it is more difficult for me to talk to him about the potty because what he sees daddy do isn't in this book and the only adult in the book is a mother.

      potty training book

      By Carol, Mother of 1

My daugheter is almost three and refuses to try to go potty. She would rather poo or pee in the diapers. We have tried everything. We got this book and read it to her every time we sat her down on the potty. She wants to go potty just so she can read the book!

      Great book

My 19-month old daughter loves this book... she likes to open the flap pages and see what's inside. It has really helped her understand the concept of going "tee-tee" and "poo-poo" on the potty. The last page shows the mommy hugging the child, so she always wants a big hug at the end!
