Customer Care Representative

We are currently seeking an experienced, conscientious, dependable, team-oriented customer service professional to join an exciting, fast growing company (note: this is not an entry level position).   • Duties & responsibilities
    · Resolve 12-15 customer inquiries per hour (calls + emails) related to products offered on website.
    · Investigate and resolve account/shipment-specific issues.
    · Assist in the development of department methods and procedures.
    · Place customer orders by phone.
    · Enter inquiry/complaint information into online CRM tool.
    · Communicate website issues to IT team as necessary for quick resolution.
    · Log call details and report all product and service-related trends to the Director of Customer Care.
    · Generate UPS Return Authorizations and/or file UPS damage claims as necessary.
    · Assist in the fulfillment of periodic marketing promotions.
    · Other general administrative duties (e.g., filing, database maintenance, etc.) as assigned.
  • Experience
    · 4+ years of experience (minimum of 3 years within one company) in a customer service role,
    preferably within a high-volume call center(s).
    · Previous experience working with RightNow Technologies, Kana, SalesLogix, or other
    CRM/email management software desirable.
  • Skills/abilities
    · Outstanding work ethic.
    · Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    · Accurate data entry and typing skills.
    · Strong working knowledge of both MS Excel and Word preferable.
    · Ability to multi-task within a high pressure environment.
    · Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    · Ability to work as a founding member of a fast growing team.
    Note: Must be able to work any of three 8-hour shifts between 9am-9pm.
  • Education
    · High School Diploma or equivalent required, College Degree preferred.
