The Social Media Community Manager will be responsible for all social media efforts, from strategy and planning, to implementation and analysis. The successful candidate will be a committed power user of social media communities and tools, with a solid understanding of how to drive consumer engagement within online social networks, and a strong interest in web technology and the Web 2.0 space.

Responsibilities will include

Develop social media strategy and content aligned with the brand and business goals

Post content and be highly responsive to comments and feedback, extending service commitment to social media outlets

Support mobile and social commerce initiatives and application development

Manage corporate blog and any guest bloggers

Conduct outreach and build relationships with top bloggers and local community groups

Monitor dialogue and feedback in social media outlets, synthesize, and make recommendations for action

Build and manage metrics reporting and analysis

Qualifications must include

Minimum Bachelor's Degree required

3+ years experience in social media, and demonstrated passion for the social media space

Strong consumer insight and commitment to exceptional customer service

Ability to emotionally connect with customers orally and in writing

Outstanding attention to detail

Team player who is willing to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done

This position is located in Jersey City, NJ. Our beautiful office is located across from the Exchange Place Path Station.
